The fjords near Tromsø are home to some of Norway’s most spectacular scenery and wildlife, but reaching this remote countryside on your own is a challenge. With this RIB boat tour, set off from the city center to cruise along the Ry tidal current to Hella, rich in marine life and birds. Spot eagles, hawks, and herons before stopping at a boat house to enjoy tea and muffins overlooking the fjords.
Enjoy the beautiful evening light that may only be experienced in places above the Arctic Circle! Join us on a three-hours Rib-boat photo safari to the islands of Gåsvær, Musvær, and Risøya with possibility to see Eagles, Cormorants, Seals and/or Puffins, beautiful scenery…and the amazing Midnight Sun! We pick you up 10 pm outside Radisson Blu Hotel and walk you 100 mts to our office where we give you warm flotation suits, boots, mittens, googles and life jackets. Then we board our Rib-boats for a fast and slow adventure: fast and exciting when we navigate from A to B. Slow and nice when we find beautiful motives to take pictures of. We will navigate towards Gåsvær, Musvær and Risøya islands. This is a scenic navigation with possibility to See Eagles, Cormorants, Puffins, Seals, and/or Harbor Porpoises.
Set out on a whale watching adventure during this full-day tour from Tromso to Skjervoy. The island is a 4-hour drive from Tromso and is home to orcas and humpback whales. Spend about two hours on the waters in a boat with up to 12 passengers to search for these gentle giants. Then enjoy sandwiches, tea, and coffee before embarking on the panoramic drive back to Tromso.
Tromsø is famously known for its beautiful nature, thriving marine life and beautiful fjords that are located around the main island. What not everyone knows, however is how much history and points of interest that are located in these incredible areas. Vikings and Sami people have been living here for more than 10,000 years, and throughout history the sea has been the main natural resource where societies and villages have been built around the area during this time. This tour offers the perfect combination between a thrilling experience at sea, and a short history lesson alongside the opportunity to spot wildlife such as seabirds, eagles, and sometimes seals or porpoises (small whales in the size of a dolphin). We don’t always see the mammals inside the fjords where this tour navigates, but the stunning nature and fast paced experience is a really appreciated experience with excellent feedback from our guests.
