Overview

The best way to get around Amsterdam is on foot, but don’t let the cold weather put you off. This 2-hour winter walking tour shows off the city at its most atmospheric, — admire the glittering illuminations of the Amsterdam Light Festival, see landmarks such as the Royal Palace, the Munttoren, and the Flower Market dusted with snow, then warm up with hot chocolate and stroopwafels (included).
  • 2-hour winter walking tour of Amsterdam
  • See landmarks such as the Royal Palace and the Munttoren
  • Stroll around Amsterdam’s famous canals and visit the Flower Market
  • Admire the illuminations of the Amsterdam Light Festival
  • Tuck into a delicious Dutch stroopwafel and warm up with a hot chocolate
  • Small-group tour limited to 15 people ensures a personalized experience
Meet your guide and small group of no more than 15 people in central Amsterdam in time for an 11.30am departure. Set out to explore the historic city on foot and, depending on the weather, perhaps see Amsterdam’s monuments dusted with snow. Don’t worry about the weather — winter hats or rain ponchos are available for those that need them!

Stroll around Amsterdam’s famous canals, stopping to peek inside the Flower Market and take photos of the striking waterfront buildings. Explore the Jewish Quarter, where you can learn more about the city’s WWII history, then continue to see landmarks such as the Royal Palace and the Munttoren. Depending on the date of your visit, you will also have chance to enjoy some of Amsterdam’s Christmas festivities or admire the spectacular illuminations of the Amsterdam Light Festival.

Finally, warm up from the winter weather with a hot chocolate and a Dutch stroopwafel — the perfect end to your morning. Your tour ends around 1.30pm in central Amsterdam.

Very little content and information for a lot of walking! No winer hat or rain poncho as stated in trip itinerary and although we did get a “warm” drink at the end of the walk, the cafe owner wasn’t very happy on our arrival and we were mad to feel like an inconvenience!! Definitely give it a miss 👎🏻
