This experience only has a few reviews, but see what other travelers said about the provider.
Nice boat ride with view of the water colors. Multiple boats leaving around the same time so no risk of missing the boat. Staff was friendly and knowledgable.
Meh. The company that was operating the boats were all very nice. It's very hard to see out of the small boats and there isn't that much to see. I ended up looking at the back of the Captians head the whole time. There was hot chocolate at the front of the boat, but when you are packed in like sardines, who could get up and go get it. The guide was nice. I'm giving 3 starts because of how nice the captain and the staff were the experience, and the number of people on the boat would have given it a one star. If I ever revisited and had family or friends that had never gone, I would certainly not sit though it again.. You would have as much fun and could see as much by taking a walk. If they had the burger or pizza cruises, it would have also been cool, but it appears that those are suspended during the Light Festival. If you want to take your kids to see lights, they will hate it and be on their phones/iDevices at all time. Thank you for the problem free trip but it was just a meh.
Wonderful way to see the city at night. Our tour guide was funny and informative.
Debated whether to take this due to few viator reviews but so glad we did. Sandra did an amazing job showing us around the more local areas of Amsterdam. The drinks were great, commentary fabulous and didn't feel as touristy as the other canal cruises. Highly recommend!
Great option for people who don't want the anonymity and robot-voice of the larger hour long cruises but don't want to spend the time or money for a private boat tour. This was relatively quick and very enjoyable.
Very fun boat trip around the outer canals of Amsterdam.
The guide was fun and informative.
If you're looking for one of those eighty seat tourist type boats, this isn't for you, but
for us, it was perfect.
I really liked the size of the boat and that it was new. They make you pour your own drinks which would be fine but when the boat is crowded it gets really awkward, and the boat by the end was overcrowded. It would be nice if they provided individual bottle drinks including sodas and allowed a few less people on board. Other than that, the cruise was really nice and relaxing. Nice info from the guide and the boat was able to cruise down some of the narrower canals which was a fun way to see the city. It had a covered section as well if you don't like sun/rain.
Loved this Canal Cruise. There was just one other couple on the boat and it was wonderful.
FYI - If you want to see the Anne Frank House, don't try to use Viator. You have to order the tickets from annefrank.org. We got misinformed by Viator early on and by the time I realized they could not sell tickets, we could only buy one ticket for the day we were in town. Luckily, I asked and they did sell us another so my husband could also go in.
The tour was great. Small and intimate. Our captain, Ellen, was very knowledgeable, friendly and fun!
I took the tour at the beginning of June and I really enjoyed it. I don't like big tours and this one was perfect. We were only 9 people in the boat, so it was easy to ask questions and interact with the guide. I will recommend the tour to anyone who want's to see more than the big canals.
