Great Time

We had such a great experience with this excursion. The crew was professional, helpful and friendly. They assisted our children, who were having trouble with the snorkeling equipment. The lunch was delicious. The catamaran sail ride was peaceful. We saw LOTS of turtles and fish. We have already recommended this company to others.

Catamaran was nice, but it was way too crowded. Not enough room for everyone to sit down or move around anywhere. When the crew made announcements- you couldn't hear them. First stop was to see the two turtles. Crew did not issue fins at this stop. They said you didn't need them. But you did because you had to swim a lot to see the 2 turtles and then to get back to where the boat had drifted too. At the 2nd stop over the shipwrecks- they evidently wanted the entire large group to stay together with one of the crew, but that wasn't communicated so that all could hear. I was the last one off of the boat and by time I swam to the first wreck they were telling me to leave. I didn't even get to see it. They did not have enough food for the large number of people that were onboard. Next time book the trips that only carry 12-16 people.

Hi, we are sorry to hear that you did not have a good time with us as that is not usually the case. We would like to take this opportunity to respond to some of the points you have raised in your review. We carry a maximum of 26 persons and we have seating along the back deck near the shade by the captain. Many persons prefer to sit along the bridge deck and lay on the trampoline. Regarding the turtles, some days we see 2 some days we see 7, they are wild animals. No boats issue fins for the turtle stop. This is to prevent people from chasing the turtles with fins on. If you remain calm the turtles will usually swim very close to you but if you chase them with fins on they will swim away. The boat is always on anchor or on a mooring while guests are snorkeling in the water. We use a large anchor so that the boat does not drag when we are in close proximity with other boats and snorkelers as that would be dangerous. The wind or possibly current can pivot the boat on anchor and give the illusion that the boat has drifted. For both the turtles and the shipwrecks stop we spend 40-50 minutes at each stop. Which is usually ample time to see everything. Regarding not hearing the captain -we are looking into installing a PA system as the wind and passengers talking can potentially affect the passengers ability to hear our captain. Thank you for pointing that out we are looking to improve on this ASAP. The complaint about the food is one we have not heard before, if you read our other reviews most people make it a point to mention that the food was part of the highlight of their tour. We always cook large amounts of food and everyday we have leftovers. We also want to mention that Barbados has a very seasonal influx of visitors, during the holiday periods of Easter, Christmas etc we have many visitors to our island. We may have been full on the day you came with us at our maximum allowance of 26 but we do often sail in off season with 6-10 persons on the boat as well. Boats that run year round with maximum of 12 persons will also run their cruise at double the rate. They even charge full price for babies under 3 years of age. We do our best always to make sure everyone has a great time with us and try to keep our prices low as possible for our guests. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your review as you have given us 3/5 stars and so you must have had some fun with us on the tour

We did the 5 hour Catamaran snorkeling cruise and it was amazing. Barbados was a port of call on a six stop cruise that we took and I have to say that this excursion was the most enjoyable one we took. The staff were fantastic and the snorkeling was awesome. We saw so many beautiful fish. I would love to do this tour again. We had lunch on the boat which was incredible and the staff were constantly asking if we wanted a beverage. Definitely recommend this excursion.
