Bogota City Tour

This was such an amazing tour — probably the best tour I’ve ever been on! I loved visiting Monserrate and seeing the beautiful view of Bogotá. Bolivar Square is also such a beautiful and interesting place. My guide was so nice, helpful, and explained everything so well. I would highly recommend this tour! Such a great experience that you won’t want to miss!

Andrea was knowledgeable and very helpful during the city tour. We covered all the spots and we had a very positive experience. Julian was the driver who was also great. They gave us water, snacks and pochos, which was a nice touch!

Amazing Tour! I would highly recommend. From Monserrate to the Gold Museum to the Government Square... this tour was amazing! And so was the coffee! My guide was great as she also helped me with my Spanish!

We really enjoyed this tour. The only reason I did not rate the tour a 5 was that the Bolero Museum is closed on Tuesdays and the company did not seem to be aware of it. However, even given that, it was worth the money. The guide was knowledgeable and transportation was included. I was expecting a small group tour but it ended up just being my fiance and I and we had a great time. We definitely recommend, but try to avoid Tuesdays.

This tour was amazing. John Alex Gonzalez was an amazing tour guide. This tour is a must when in Bogota. He personalized the tour and shared the real urban experience and you felt the true heart and soul of Bogota...The cable car ride on the trans-mileno was incredible. Ask for him to be your guide. We initially had a tour booked with another company set for Friday January 18th but when we contacted them upon arriving in Bogota on Thursday January 17th to confirm they were providing an English speaking guide they said they didn't have one available and they expected one of us who speaks Spanish to translate everything for the other (so we obviously cancelled the tour with that particular company) and were scrambling to book a new tour. One of us had previously used VIATOR in Rome and was very satisfied with the service provided so we reached out to them to see what they had available on such short notice in Bogota. To our delight they were able to provide us with an English speaking guide for our tour for the very next day!The next day the driver (Esteban) and guide (Ana) arrived promptly at 9am picking us up at a relative's house where we were staying and we began our journey. We first started with a trip to Monserrate. On the drive from where we were staying to Monserrate the guide was pointing out different things around the city as we passed them. Once we got to Monserrate we were able to skip to the front of the line to take the tram up to the top. The guide was extremely knowledgeable with the history and facts she provided. After Monserrate we then went to La Candelaria where we walked around and Ana provided us with insight about the area. We then we to a very cute spot called Cafe Attico where we were treated to a large cup of Chicha (fermented corn drink). We then walked into a few shops in the area to find some souvenirs.After La Candelaria, we went to the Gold museum where we were provided an English speaking guide who took us through one of the 3 main exhibits and provided a great amount of information and details about the history of the different regions in Colombia where different gold artifacts had been found.Once we finished with the Gold museum we then went to the Bolivar square and lastly went to the Botero museum. Ana took us through the Botero museum and provided additional knowledge and insight about some of the exhibits. After we were done there, they dropped us off at another location that we had requested.This was an incredible tour and we are blown away by how great everything turned out! We went to a lot of different places and Ana was more than happy to take any and all of the pictures we wanted for us. I would highly recommend this trip for anyone visiting Bogota!
