Very informative glad we did it. If anything a little over the top cost wise. Saw a lot of the old town which being new to the UK/ Brighton would not have known it was there. Rick was easy to understand and had all the answers to our questions.
Thank you for a great review.
Just a word about the cost: the Lanes tour is more expensive than a public/large group tour, but a lot cheaper than a private tour with an official Blue Badge Guide (which I am). If people want to spend less then I would direct them to my 'Only in Brighton!' weekend tour, which is £10 per person because it attracts a larger crowd.
I offer my other tours as 'semi-private' tours, i.e. on-demand small-group tours. But the trade-off for offering a convenient choice of dates is that they typically only attract one or two people per tour, and therefore I have to charge more to make them viable. In theory the maximum group size is 10, in practice, people usually get their own personal tour, and I can the tailor the tour to their interests, and (for speakers of other languages) adapt my language to their level.
