Your day begins with pick-up from your central Cairns hotel and a short transfer to Cairns Marina to board your boat. Set sail along the coast and soak up the scenery on the 45-minute cruise to Fitzroy Island, gazing out across the UNESCO-listed landscapes of the Great Barrier Reef.
On arrival, get suited up for the first activity of the day and after learning how to steer and balance on your paddleboard, set out on a thrilling 3-hour tour. Marvel at the ocean views and colorful corals below as you paddle around the island, and jump off along the way to swim and snorkel amid schools of exotic fish and other marine life.
Back on shore, re-fuel with snacks and refreshments before setting out to explore the island on your own. Perhaps take a hike through the rainforest, join a glass-bottom boat tour (own expense), enjoy lunch (own expense) at one of the island’s restaurants, or simply relax by the beachside.
At 3.30pm, meet back up with your guide for the return transfer to Cairns, where a driver will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.
