Combine a jungle zipline course, off-road ATV experience, and a cenote swim on a small-group adventure tour from Cancun to Extreme Adventure Eco Park. Take on a fun, family-friendly challenge in a scenic destination, with round-trip hotel transfer, refreshments, and all activities included.
Begin with pickup at your hotel in Cancun or the Riviera Maya, then travel to Extreme Adventure Eco Park, where your experience begins in a jungle setting.
Start by soaring through the trees on a series of six ziplines, then cross and three interactive bridges that will challenge your balance while offering a unique view of the forest canopy. Return to the ground and trade your zipline harness for a Honda 220cc ATV, then follow a guide down rugged jungle trails, bumping over rocks and roots surrounded by thick forest.
Finish the day Yucatan style by cooling off in a cenote: you can zipline, cliff-jump, or take the stairs into the underground pool, which is part of a massive limestone cave system carved by fresh water. Return to base to refuel with a light snack (photos of the day will be available for purchase), then make the return trip to Cancun and the Riviera Maya, where this tour concludes.
I was with a group of 9 females and we had a blast! There was probably a total of 15 or 16 of us in the group that participated in the activities. We rode the ATVs, ziplined and swam in the cenotes. The workers were super nice and made sure safety was number one. The pictures that were taken were an amazing plus! You definitely can’t have your phone while participating in these fun activities. They do have lockers there that you can lock your stuff in. Overall it was a highlight of our trip!
This was an amazing excursion. Going into the park it was very natural and clean. We started with the ziplining. We were with a huge group so it took a while. I was with a few folks who hadn't ziplines before so this was perfect. We didnt plan on doing the upside down one but we all did. The cenotes was my favorite. The atv was my least favorite. Wish we had more room to really let loose and the engine was hot on our legs. I suggest this to everyone.
I had a group of 8 people with me. The driver picked us up 30 min before our scheduled time, it takes about 45 min to get to the location. When we arrived we had to wait another 90 minutes before we started because they were waiting on another driver. While we waited we were entertained by non funny jokes. When the tour started it left us with 30 min to do each tour. We did the Cenote tour first (BEST PART, hence the 2 stars) after we did the zip line which was ok too, the last thing was the ATV ( DO NOT DO IF YOU ARE PREGNANT) my husbands ATV brakes did not work, it’s not a real jungle tour just dirt and trees man made. After we were served pork tasteless tacos or tuna tacos with mad soft tacos and water. My friend ordered a coke and when he opened it, took two sips , flies went it I asked the guy to give us another one and he shrugged his shoulders and said well . I lost it. We ended up getting the new can. Just rude. The driver takes you back to the hotel.
We had a fantastic time. Be ready for a bit of chaos at the beginning. People are dropped off at the site at various times and you wait while everyone arrives and some people finish up paying. Once everyone is set the rules are explained, ATV experience and choices are reviewed, you have an opportunity to purchase dust masks (we brought bandannas but opted to buy the masks for added protection) for the ATV (be sure to bring sun glasses or goggles too) and you are divided into groups. You can purchase (money refunded upon return of key) a locker for your items for storage during ATV and zipline. Groups go in different orders to events. Ours was perfect, zip line, ATV and cenote. Diego was our fantastic guide and he was so much fun. There is also a photographer and pictures are available for purchase on a sliding cost based on the number of people in your group. As novices everyone was so helpful and encouraging on the zip line and ATV. There were 17 people in our smaller group. The zip line was nerve wracking as a first timer but so thrilling. Two suspended bridges are also crossed during this part. There is a weight and waist circumference limit for zip lining which some people were not aware of ahead of time. The ATV ride was a bit bumpy and dusty and you really need to pay attention to the person in front of you and you might consider longer shorts because of rubbing when you maneuver the terrain. The cenote was above ground with a nice water temp and zip lining in and diving are optional. We finished the excursion with a light lunch of two pork tacos. Beverages were available for purchase. You might consider a bringing water with you. The driver that dropped us off picked us up at the end of the day.
First off two shout outs: Adrien our tour guide was fantastic. He was a joy to talk to and made the experience very enjoyable. Javier was our driver and the BEST driver we had all week. He was very humorous and entertaining.
Now, for the excursion: It was exactly what we were looking for. You drive away from all the resorts and out of town. It was in a lovely forested area.
We started with the ATVs. Yes, the trails were rough, but that's what we were wanting-real and primitive. We saw other ATV excursions that the people literally paid to drive around their resorts on concrete (why in the world would you want to do that?) lol I also felt like we drove around for a perfect amount of time.
Then we went to a beautiful cenote. It was breathtaking and there was plenty to do. My husband isn't a heights person, but he enjoyed just swimming in the cool water. I am, so I did it all-zipline into the water and 3 different jumps. Do it!!
Lastly we did the ziplines. The highlight of the ziplines was going upside down. I would highly recommend it!
We bought the pictures and glad we read the reviews of everyone that suggested it! Do yourself a favor and leave your phones in the lockers, let the pros take the photos, and pay to get them. They can airdrop them to your phone and we now have over 100 amazing photos and were fully present enjoying the experience the whole time rather than trying to take photos.
Ultimately, I would recommend the entire excursion and I'd do it again myself!
