What To Expect
Begin your tour with hotel pickup from selected accommodation in Cape Town between 7:45 and 8:30 a.m. Drive along the Atlantic Seaboard, taking in the view of the Twelve Apostles Mountains in the background and learning about the culture and history as you go.
Upon arrival at Hout Bay, take an optional boat cruise to the Cape Fur seal colony on Duiker Island (own expense), or spend free time browsing the local curio shops at the harbor. Return to the bus and snack on muffins and juice while admiring the views along Chapman’s Peak Drive (subject to road conditions).
Then, continue to Boulders Beach in Simons Town to visit a colony of cute African penguins (optional).
Our final stop of the tour is Cape Point Nature Reserve, a beautiful protected area with free-roaming wildlife and incredible landscapes.
After a healthy picnic lunch, take a leisurely stroll to the Cape Point lighthouse, and an easy hike to the southwestern-most point of Africa. Walk along the spectacular Diaz Beach encircled by dramatic cliffs and wild waves before you reach the famous Cape of Good Hope sign.
Then, climb back aboard your transport to return to your accommodation, where your tour concludes.

Great way of seeing some of the highlights around Cape Town in a day. The trip includes the cape of good hope, plus a stop to see penguins at boulders beach and a boat trip to see some seals. All was well organised and the bus was comfortable.

This was the most fantastic day out from Capetown and we would recommend 100% that you do it!
Our guide Leon and driver Sammy were excellent hosts and Leons knowledge was second to none (his jokes not so). But all in all SUPERB!!!!!

A lot was contained in this tour and I was surprised that we could do all that in just one day - visiting the seal colony as well as the penguin colony, a walk up to the old lighthouse at Cape Point as well as a walk along the cliff to Cape of Good Hope, light snack and picnic lunch and some picture stops along the way. Needless to mention a great guide and a great driver. Amazing!

Had a great time and we stopped a good amount to see things. The tour guide was knowledgeable. Lunch was just average, but nice that it was included along with some breakfast snacks!

The day was great, all well organized. A little more time at the Cape would have been great. Also we were not picked up at the hotel and office place is not easy to find. More information for these guests is definitely necessary.

The tour of the cape peninsula and point is well worth the visit. The landscape is rugged, beautiful and majestic. The tour guide was informative and the lunch provided was yummy and plenty. It was very sunny so take a hat.
