My family and I enjoyed ourselves immensely! My 11 year old son did an awesome job and we have beautiful pictures while snorkeling. I would definitely recommend Catamaran Sail and Snorkel you won't be disappointed!
We booked this tour for our last day in Puerto Rico and it was a perfect way to conclude our vacation. It was an amazing experience and it's a must when visiting Puerto Rico. The captain and the 3 staff members were friendly/courteous and made us feel comfortable and happy. We took our 4 year old daughter, so if you're concerned about taking your toddler, do not think twice! I would however suggest you take your own child's life vest. My husband and I managed to take turns watching our daughter during the snorkeling portion of the trip and there was more than enough time for us to fully engage in the activity! I also recommend, the sooner you book this tour the better, they book fast!
This was a fun trip with a lot of people from all walks of life, I think we had about 40 on the boat. There was quite a bit of waiting around before we got started but once we did the sail over to Icacos Cay was fun, as well as the snorkeling just off the island. We snorkeled for perhaps an hour and then anchored just off the beach at Icacos Cay and had lunch. We then simply enjoyed the next few hours on on the beach and just soaked up the atmosphere. I would have preferred to have sailed and snorkeled a bit more than we did. Lunch was simple but decent, mostly cold cut sandwiches and some cookies as well as some fresh fruit a bit later. Rum drinks were flowing like crazy on that boat which was unexpected but certainly a nice surprise They clearly had plenty in stock. Overall it was a fun day, enjoying the crystal clear water for brief snorkeling, and lots of sun and sand on a beautiful small remote island to spend the remainder of the excursion.
They crew snorkeling was great. The crew was fun. They took lots of pix then just emailed to us. No cost!! Lunch was good but the fresh fruit and the drinks were fabulous. Our family had a wonderful day!!
It was my first time snorkeling, so I found it to be an amazing trip! The crew who took us on the catamaran were polite and knowledgeable and provided a wonderful cruise. The food served for lunch was fresh and delicious. For a first-timer it was very interesting to see the reef and fish, but if I ever did it again I would try to find a place that has more exotic-type fish, turtles or something more to see while snorkeling. Although for the price, this cruise was well worth it and I definitely recommend it!
The snorkeling and swimming were great. The crew was friendly and made us feel at home. The only problem with this tour is the 2.5 hours we spent on the bus getting to Fajardo from our hotel in San Juan. They had way too many pickups for one bus.
