Each of the three tours begins with pickup at your hotel in Funchal, and all transport is by minibus.
Full-day western Madeira tour (8 hours)
Spend the day taking in the very best of the island’s western half, including the viewpoints at Câmara de Lobos, Pico da Torre, and Cabo Girão, a scenic sea cliff on the southern coast.
Other highlights of the day include Ribeira Brava, Paul da Serra, Ribeira da Janela, Porto Moniz, Seixal, and Encumeada.
Full-day eastern Madeira tour (8 hours)
The second day is all about the eastern side of the island, with a lineup of destinations designed for a great introduction and overview.
Visit Camacha, Pico do Arieiro, Ribeiro Frio, and Santana, then continue to Porto da Cruz, Faial, Portela, Ponta de São Lourenço, and Santa Cruz, the second-largest city on the island of Madeira.
Madeira by night (3.5 hours)
Meet a driver at your hotel for 7:30pm departure, then experience an evening of Madeira food and music. You’ll see bailinho da Madeira performed by singers and dancers in traditional costumes, then watch traditional Portuguese fado. Dine on a meal of espetada, grilled beef on skewers, alongside bolo do caco, classic flat bread shaped by hand.
Following the dinner and show, make a final stop at one of Funchal’s scenic overlooks for a nighttime view of the city and coast, then finish the night with 11pm drop-off at your hotel.
