Hot Air Balloon, Kings Valley, Sailing Felucca,City tour & Camel Ride

Amazing experience! Hot air balloon was a breath taking experience! My tour guide Hatem was extremely informative! He had so much knowledge and was so friendly. Pick up and drop off services were on time and very prompt. Covid precautions were taken at all destinations and everyone is so welcoming. A must do experience in Luxor !!

An overall great package tour of Luxor. The tour started off amazing with the hot air ballon with a view of all of Luxor. Next we were picked up for our tour of Luxor which was good, the best part of the second tour was the felucca ride and lunch the father and son duo was great and very welcoming. I would recommend not doing the camel ride since it was basically in a neighborhood and not very comfortable compared to the camel ride in Cairo. We ended the tour with the horse and carriage ride of downtown Luxor temples. I would say the expectation to tip everyone was a little draining compared to Cairo which wasn’t like this.

Wow! To see the whole area from a balloon! Amazing. Great people, crew, pilot. We started by getting picked up at 5am and drove to the ballooning site. There were 30+ balloons being used at the same time. We took off and hovered above the ground for 30+ mins and then we shot up to 1800’. We were in the balloon for a total of around 2 hours. Perfect landing as well. The boat ride was amazing. Awesome crew. Entertaining. Camel ride was very short and in a populated area. Not as much fun! Valley of the kings was amazing and or guide was knowledgeable and patient.

This was such an awesome tour!! I mean how can you beat a hot air balloon ride watching the sun rise over the Nile? I’m afraid of heights and thought this could be an issue but never once did I or my friend feel scared. Sailing over the lush fertile landscape, seeing the Valley of the Kings below and the sheer experience of floating was indescribable! We then started our tour with our private driver and guide, Hatem, who was very well mannered, kind and accommodating. He knew so much of the history of the temples and tombs and spoke very good English. He arranged for everything from purchasing our entrance tickets (included) to suggesting the best tombs to see to ensuring we were always happy and taken care of. After a short city tour, we sailed on a felucca to Banana Island for lunch which was a delicious 4-5 course meal overlooking the Nile and walked around the banana plantation. After asking about the large cone shaped bird house, we learned that pigeon is a delicacy. Later, in Cairo, we tried it and it was very good. As we sailed back to the West Bank our young helmsmen began to play a small drum and we all danced on the boat as others sailed by probably wondering why we were having so much fun. It was because Hatem encouraged us to live like “queens”. So we did! The last part of our tour was a camel ride, which as it turned out was around the neighborhood where we were staying. It was fun to see how people lived and everywhere we went people were friendly and happy to see us. For a 1 day tour we did a lot! I would highly recommend booking this tour and trying to get Hatem as your guide. Thank you so much Hatem for providing us with such a carefree and fun time! Anna and I will never forget it!

The experience was incredible, the only reason I didn't give 5 stars was a mixup about the start of the tour not being listed clearly. We weren't informed that the tour started at 5am, so we missed the Hot Air Balloon ride, however, the Guide made every effort to accommodate the mistake, and we were very happy with the remaining program. Maybe just in future, please fully explain the hours of start for the tour. We definitely will reccomend the tour and especially the guide, Saladino to all our friends who wish to visit Egypt!

the hot air ballon ride was great! worth doing if it was just this alone, plenty to see with the valley of the kings,adequate time given at each site.the felucca ride was relaxing, and food provided was good.the camels well behaved and clean. could have done without a couple of the stops at what appeared to be friends of the guide. pushiest tour we've been on asking for tips at EVERY stop.
