Hop between islands along Thailand's coast as you wander between beaches by long-tail boat. This traditional mode of transport takes you at a leisurely pace from Koh Lanta Yai to snorkeling spots at Koh Chuek, Koh Mook, Koh Ngai, and Koh Mah. Round-trip hotel transport, lunch, and snorkel gear are provided.
Island-hopping from Koh Lanta Yai by long-tail boat
This full-day tour departs from your hotel or Ko Lanta Yai's old town port in the morning. Meet your guide and group of island-hoppers aboard a traditional long-tail boat headed for several isles in the Andaman Sea, where crystal-clear waters lap pristine beaches.
After about a 45-minute ride, you'll arrive at your first destination: Ko Chuek. Here, spend an hour or so snorkeling while surrounded by tropical fish. Then it's off to the Emerald Cave at Koh Mook, known locally as Tham Morakot. At low tide the boat can access the sea cave to the other side where an emerald pool and white sands flank the karst cliffs.
Following a lagoon swim, travel onward to Koh Ngai where lunch is served. Dig into massaman curry served with chicken, steamed rice, mixed vegetables, and seasonal fruits. Then explore the island highlights with your guide, including a spotless beach, tropical forest–clad mountains, and magnificent corals, making it an ideal site for snorkeling.
Next up is your final stop at Koh Maa. Feeding fish is not permitted due to national park policy, but you'll find plenty of snorkeling ops and see some of the island's thousands of giant bats. Leaving in the afternoon by long-tail boat, you'll arrive in Koh Lanta where a driver will transfer you back to your hotel.

We only visited 1 island....?? The food was nice and the staff very friendly. We went to Ngai island for snorkeling and swimming. Had lunch and came back. Weren't we suppose to see more islands and do more snorkeling?
This was a great tour and the guide was fantastic and hands on! Great snorkeling spots- saw an eel, octopus, and blowfish, great lunch on the beach, cool swim through a cave to the inner beach, and beautiful scenery. Would recommend this to anyone as a one stop shop for koh lanta!
