Depart central Milan by air-conditioned vehicle and travel south to Modena.
This lovely city was where Enzo Ferrari, the founder of Scuderia Ferrari (the racing division of Ferrari), was born in 1898, and boasts the Casa Enzo Ferrari Museum, located on the site of his original home and workshop.
Head inside the stunning, yellow-roofed museum, and enjoy ample time to explore the 10,000-square foot (929-square meter) showrooms independently. Admire the original Scuderia Ferrari Formula I cars, sports prototypes, and classic and modern models, and trace the brand’s history through the galleries of trophies, photographs, and memorabilia.
Watch the biopic charting Enzo’s 90-year life story, and visit his now-preserved house and workshop, where he designed the first car bearing Ferrari’s prancing horse logo. Plus, have a go on the state-of-the-art Formula I simulator (additional cost), experiencing the thrill of racing a Ferrari around a recreated track.
After about two hours, drive on to the Fidenza Village designer outlet mall, a shopping hotspot that’s home to a Ferrari store. Enjoy great discounts on the official Ferrari merchandise here, and browse some of the many boutiques independently, stocking up with bargains.
Your tour then ends at the original start point in Milan.
