Chukka's Best of the West Island Experience (zip, tube & horse ride/swim)

Great experience! It is very active so be prepared. Staff was great and very funny. This trip made my stay at Jamaica great.

Was a great excursion! Ziplining was fun (AFROPPPP... ZIPPPP). The guys were hilarious, wassup diablo 🤙🏾. Ladies wear shorts. Rappelling was fun but a little scary. River Rafting with Suga & Chad was fun, clearly Chad is a Texas man who loves country music at heart and a comedian. Riding the horses was easy for beginners. The ride in the ocean is very short but lovely and hold on tight because they start galloping lol. The lunch was good. S/O to our excursion driver David — he was one of our favorite parts of the excursion. The excursion last almost all day long. Its very lengthy, if you dont mind. The mosquitos KILLED ME lol bring bug spray!! Shower in it if you can. Overall great experience!

My family and i had fun on our activities but i am giving them a low rating because of the check process was a disaster. We got pick up from our resort on time. And head out to saint james. When we arrived at the zip line activity site. We were told we had to buy close toes water shoes. We we read the reservation description before booking with chukka. The description said we recommend closed toes shoes, not required. The zip lining staff made it a big deal after i should them the description. They still wanted my family and I to purchase water shoes. Other guest purchased them at the location. It was just so frustrating because I like to plan my trips before hand. I had my water hiking sandals. (Chaco) Which were way better then the water shoes they made us wear. By the end of the trip my feet were hurting cause of all the rocks on the trail. My hiking sandals would have been better and have more support. Oh yeah don’t forget to take bug spray. We packed it but others didn’t and they had to purchase it there as well. I didn’t like that our tour guide didn’t have our back they sided with the tour location. We paid for the tour with chukka so we can have a relaxing vacation. I think the most frustrating part was we had to start our tour late cause we were talking to different people about our situation. We had close toes shoes in our resort and we would have pack them if they would have told us. I also let the zip lining staff know they should update their website cause it’s clearly incorrect and misleading.

The experience was fun and I would recommend the activities; however, the reason I’m rating it poorly was due to the fact that their was no indication of a mandatory requirement for use of water shoes on this tour. Many were forced to purchase water shoes which were less safe than the water sandals that I had prepared with. I would highly suggest that the wording on the REQUIREMENTS for this trip are changed to MANDATORY as some of us like to prepare in advance and do not like surprises.

Tour guides = amazing Activities = amazing and SAFE these guys know exactly how to keep a crowd entertained w/ their sense of humor and amazing personalities. I took a solo trip to JA and not once did i feel afraid. I can't wait to come back and do the atv's with my friends. <<<>>>> 1. WEAR CLOSED TOE SHOES. PREFERABLY WATER SHOES. They do sell them but they are $15 2. Bring bug spray or you WILL get ate up. Those mosquitoes are NO JOKE. They also sell it for $15 3. wear a shirt (ziplining) or you WILL BE required to either buy one or waste your money 4.Be prepared to do ALOT of walking. Sorry, if you are out of shape you will definitely feel it. Might be a good idea to bring a bottle of water. 5.HAVE FUN AND TRY EVERYTHING. P.S. If nature and height's aren't your friend DO NOT sign up. STAY HOME LOL

Had a great time! And great guides! Wish the horseback riding was a bit longer. Would highly recommend to anyone passing through this area!

All guides were professional, fun & informative! The tour should have also emphasized there is a moderate amount of hiking with ziplining. I recommend this tour.

We had a great time on this excursion. Only drawback was waiting time between activities and not being able to have complimentary beers until the end of the day. The guides were very friendly and professional.

We opted for horse ride in place of ATV. It was definitely the highlight of this experience! Piece of advice - do carry a bug spray when venturing out in Jamaica. The annoying part was the constant demand for tips by tour guides - unfortunately, an American export.

ZipLine guides Murray Mario Jimmy Diablo & Romaine ROCKS!!! Very patient and knowledgeable Tuber guides were super cool and hilarious as well We chose horseback riding and Alvin guided me the whole way.... I would recommend anyone wanted to spend a day enjoying the country’s scenery and history
