Meet your group and guide in Yountville in the morning. Your guide greets you, and helps you get situated with a bike and helmet that works well for you. Listen to a short orientation, and get ready to hit the streets with fellow wine lovers.

On this tour you’ll visit three wineries, and you’ll ride your bike 3-6 miles (about 5-10 km) in between the wineries. At each winery, your guide introduces you to the tasting host who tells you about the special wine-making process there. You can also taste at each winery (own expense), and purchase any bottles you particularly like (own expense).

After the second winery, your group takes a break for lunch. Enjoy a picnic lunch of a selection of artisan sandwiches, green salad, fresh fruit, and assorted nibbles. Once you’ve made a trip to all three wineries, your group rides back to the bike shop to drop off your equipment.

Napa Valley Bike Tours
After bike fitting & orientation (30 mins), your Tour Guide will lead you on a casual bike ride alongside the vineyards. You will visit a total of three wineries over the course of the day. Each winery visit will last approx 60 minutes with plenty of time to engage your tasting room host and learn about the wine-making styles and farming practices particular to each vineyard. Wine tasting fees are not included; you will pay tasting fees directly at the wineries during your visit (fees may be waived with minimum purchase). A delicious wine country picnic lunch will be served at the second winery after your tasting there.

Cliff Lede Vineyards
Cliff Lede Vineyards was established in 2002 by Canadian born Bordeaux enthusiast, Cliff Lede, following the acquisition of a sixty acre estate in the Stags Leap District of Napa Valley. With a focus on producing wines from estate vineyards, Lede tapped David Abreu, considered the best viticulturist in Napa Valley, to replant the vineyards. Lede decided to name each vineyard block after some of his favorite rock songs and albums—from “My Generation” to “Dark Side of the Moon,” creating what is known today as the Cliff Lede Vineyards “Rock Blocks.” Specific winery visits are subject to change due to availability. Wine tasting fees are not included in the price of the bike tour (some wineries may be waived with minimum purchase).

Laird Family Estate
The Laird family has nearly 50 years of experience growing grapes in the Napa Valley. With more than 2,000 acres of planted vineyards, the Laird family sells 97% of their grapes to other premium wineries, reserving just 3% for their own Laird Family Estate label, established in 1999. Meticulously farmed and carefully selected grapes, a world-class winery, and traditional family values—that’s what you get from Laird Family Estate. Following your wine tasting experience at Laird, you'll enjoy a wine country picnic lunch on their terrace overlooking the vineyards. Your picnic, catered by Chef Thomas Keller’s Bouchon Bakery, will include selections such as smoked turkey & brie, Parisian-style ham & gruyere, tuna Niçoise and a seasonal vegetarian selection on an assortment of Bouchon Bakery’s artisanal breads (gluten-free salad options are also available). Individual sandwich selections are accompanied by Kettle Chips and a sweet Bouchon Bakery treat. Specific winery visits are subject to change due to availability. Wine tasting fees are not included in the price of the bike tour (some wineries may be waived with minimum purchase).

Half-Day Napa Valley Bike + Wine Tour | Jan 2018

A perfect way to see the Napa. Excellent guide, great scenery and very safe. The trip is on bike paths and the back roads, but quite safe.
Highly recommended for an interesting outing that included two stops at fine vineyards.

Half-Day Napa Valley Bike + Wine Tour | Aug 2017

The ride was a good distance 15 miles and the experience was fun. I loved the wineries chosen for our visit especially Clif Lede winery. Our guide was knowledgeable and kept us safe. I would not give it 5 stars because it was a pricey since the tastings were additional.
