Make your way to St. Paul’s Chapel, an Episcopal church that escaped falling debris to survive September 11th intact, and because a temporary rescue center for victims of the attacks. See the mementos sent from around the world to support New Yorkers, take in the Firefighters’ 9/11 Memorial Wall, and stop by the Engine and Ladder Company 10/10, the Ground Zero fire station.
Continue to the National 9/11 Memorial, where visitors may pay their respects to the victims of the attack. Follow the names of the nearly 3,000 victims that surround the Reflecting Absence Memorial, with time to linger in the peaceful green space.
When the 1.5-hour guided portion of this tour concludes, you’ll receive tickets for the One World Observatory, which looks out at the New York City skyline from the 100th–102nd floors of the One World Trade Center. Ride the “Sky Pod” elevator to the 102nd floor, then enjoy views of the city and interactive touch screen exhibits; you’ll also have access to the One World Observatory restaurants and cafes.
