Visit to Grand Canyon
, Aug 2019
The trip to the Canyon with 2 more places was good. Was traveling alone for the first time but saw 3 more people alone. The van was comfortable. The driver Eric drove well and gave a lot of information abt the places and answered all our questions patiently. The place at Navajo for lunch was gd. He told us the special food we could try. He gave us good enough time to take pics. The other people in the van were friendly too. All in all I had a gd time.
Thank you for your 5 star review of the Grand Canyon Tour you took with Eric. We are pleased that you enjoyed your tour. This is a wonderful tour, with some of the most amazing scenery in the world! Please join us on one of our other incredible tours the next time you visit Arizona.
First and foremost let me say our tour guide Rosanna was great. She was very professional and fun at the same time. The tour was great except we felt more time and attention should be paid to Sedona. Sedona is great place to visit with respect to touring and the epic scenery. Had we known we would have taken the Sedona tour because of the beauty and tourist attractions. However Rosanna was a great tour guide as she knew the history of the land, the original native American people. She also knew the geological survey of the land, it's plants animals and mountainous artifacts. Hope to return soon and your again with Rosanna.
Thank you for taking the time to review the tour you took to the Grand Canyon. Unfortunately, there is not enough time to do justice to the Grand Canyon and to Sedona in one day. Since this is a Grand Canyon tour, the focus of the tour is the Grand Canyon. We do offer a Sedona tour that spends more time in Sedona. It's called Sedona, Jerome, and Montezuma Castle tour. Perhaps you will consider joining this tour the next time you visit.
We appreciate your taking the time to give a 5 Star Review of the Grand Canyon with Sedona and Navajo Reservation Tour you took with Across Arizona Tours. It's wonderful to be able to see the Grand Canyon in one day.
The Grand Canyon is always beautiful! it is a work of art that no human can achieve; it is a Divine inscription. Now the tour bus ride to view this magnificent sight left me fighting for the tranquility that the Canyon emits. Unknowingly I subjected myself and an out-of-state guest to a eight hour ride, round trip, on a bus that was so cramped until our knees were pressed into the metal of the seats in front of us. No matter which we attempted to turn, there was no relief, Our hips and knees were painful by the time we reached the Grand Canyon. In such discomfort, we could not enjoy the view on the ride to or from the Canyon. When I brought this atrocity to the attention of the company who supplied the van, I requested a 50% refund of our $336.00 fare. Her response was that all she could refund is $25. 00 per person, a total of $50.00. Across Arizona Tours, LLC van was the worst ride that I have ever had in my total of eight trips to the Grand Canyon since moving to Arizona 22 years ago. Rev. Sylvia T.
Thank you for taking the time to review your tour. Unfortunately, you didn't enjoy this tour as much as the vast majority of our guests. You did receive the entire tour, so a 50% refund was not warranted.
Overall, a very informative & visually engaging tour, taking advantage of the natural wonders of Sedona & the Grand Canyon & ample opportunities to shop for genuine, Native American made goods. Ample time was allowed for each location & the guide offered plenty of interesting & useful information - historical, geological, geographical & cultural. Being over 6'3", I will say I found the van we were in a bit short on leg room. And while I know we were in Arizona & MAGA hats are as common as cactus plants, not all tour participants are going to appreciate a guide's conservative views. Perhaps it's best they leave comments about "illegals" & other questionable content out of their spiel. One final recommendation would be that as we are forced to be in such cramped quarters, that smoking be prohibited for the duration of the tour. As much as smokers may not acknowledge this aspect of their deadly habit, when they smoke, they stink & that stink stays with them & anyone else who they're next to in a tightly packed tour bus.
I was very very hesitant to book an online tour being in a city that I didn’t know but I’m SO glad that my wife & I took a chance. The tour (& especially our tour guide Rosanne) was phenomenal! The tour bus was comfortable & they didn’t overcrowd it with people so there was room to stretch out. Rosanne was EVERYTHING I’d like to have as a tour guide. She was entertaining & engaging. She conducted the tour in a lighthearted manner while ensuring ALL of the tour guests were included. She was well informed, professional, & went out of her way to make sure the tour was a memorable experience. She even served as the official tour photographer!
A GREAT EXPERIENCE
