Round-trip helicopter tour and Milford Sound cruise from Queenstown
Select from three departure times at booking. Then board a modern 6-seater Airbus Squirrel after a hotel transfer to the helicopter base in Queenstown.
Slip on your audio headset to hear the pilot's commentary as you take off for Milford Sound. Upon landing at the famous fiord, embark on a scenic cruise that takes you past Milford's sheer cliffs and gushing waterfalls. Search the waters for dolphins, seals, and penguins.
Then re-board the helicopter for an aerial tour, soaring above ice falls to touch down on Mt. Tutoko, a glacier in the heart of Fiordland National Park. (Glacier landings are subject to weather conditions and flight paths, which may change at the pilot’s discretion.)
On arrival back in Queenstown, a courtesy shuttle transfers you back to your hotel.

Helicopter ride to Milford Sound

Trip of a lifetime and this excursion was the best part. They were so accommodating to my family. We landed on a mountain top and had a gender reveal that the pilot so graciously videoed. I would recommend taking the helicopter because the scenery is indescribable.

The service provided by Glacier Southern Lakes Helicopters (in particular Pilot ‘Stu’ and customer service member ‘Melissa), were without doubt the single most memorable experience of our trip to Queeenstown. The friendly, professional, experienced and considerate service will guarantee a memory of a lifetime. I am unable to recommend them high enough. So much more than I ever hoped or expected.
Very nice tour! We loved the helicopter flight-- it affords some amazing views along the way. The cruise was great, but be prepared for the weather if you want to enjoy the top deck. Our day was very windy but mild so a windbreaker and hat come in handy. Worth it though-- we saw penguins and seals along the shore.
