Spend the afternoon and early evening exploring Rio de Janeiro's top sights, culminating in sunset views over the city. With your group, follow your guide's carefully-curated itinerary designed to show you the best of the city. Highlights include the Selaron Steps, the Metropolitan Cathedral, Christ the Redeemer, and sunset at Sugarloaf Mountain.
Overall it was a good tour.
1st of all bus was 45 mins late picking us up, we was told it was because of traffic being carnival week.
Downtown tour was pretty lame, guide pointed out some place as we drove by without even slowing down.
Visit to Christ the redeemer would have been good had cloud cover not completely obscured the view, we got a couple of pics of a faint outline of statue.
We didn’t go to sugar loaf mountain because of the cloud cover but was given the tickets which are valid for 1 month so we could make our own way there at a later date.
Seleron steps would have been good if we could have seen them, there was so many people on them as it was carnival week.
While at the seleron step it pounded down with rain and we all got drenched which turned out to be ok because of partying going on we had a few beers and joined in while waiting for the tour bus to return.
With hindsight I would have booked this tour while in Rio and not to far in advance and checked the forecast, on a clear day I’m sure it would have been awesome and without the masses of people partying, the steps would have been a great sight.
Not tour guides fault it turned out as it did, we still had a good day but not what we expected.
