Check out the Bay Lights art installation on the San Francisco end of the Bay Bridge during a Thursday night sailing tour from Sausalito. Sail aboard a traditional tall ship to view one of the most popular attractions on the San Francisco Bay. Hot drinks, beer and wine from California producers, and snacks are available for purchase on board.
Make your own way to the departure dock in the Sausalito yacht harbor to board your tall ship for the 2-hour Bay Lights night sail.
The Bay Lights is a large-scale art installation created by artist Leo Villareal and first opened in 2013 on the San Francisco–Oakland Bay Bridge. Your tall ship sailing tour combines an enchanting night sail on the bay with excellent vantage points for viewing this renowned work of public art.
The sailing tour can proceed in most weather, including cold, wind, fog, and drizzle. Be prepared for colder temperatures on the water than on land.
Drinks and snacks are available for purchase on board, including wines from Sonoma and Napa Valley, beer from California and other locations, soda or bottled water, hot chocolate, hot apple cider, and clam chowder accompanied by San Francisco sourdough bread.
On occasion, extreme weather requires that a sailing tour is rescheduled. Participants will be notified within at least 24 hours of the scheduled sail and be offered a rescheduled tour date. The captains monitor the weather channels and make every effort to inform you of any changes in a timely manner.
Your tour ends with return to the dock in Sausalito after two hours.
