Why Travelers Choose This Tour

Enjoy entrance to the Grand Canyon through a lesser-known gate with a smaller-than-average tour group.
This tour covers a lot of ground in and around Grand Canyon National Park, so its an early morning pickup from your Flagstaff or Seodna hotel to kick off your day of travel via mini coach.
Wupatki National Monument is your first major stop. As your guide will explain, the ancient Native American civilization of Sinagua lived here for 400 years. Then ancient desert dwellers. witnessed the dramatic eruption of Sunset Crater Volcano nearly a millennium ago, which destroyed their homes and forced them out. Your tour includes a visit to the lava fields at Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument.
Take a break from touring with a stop for lunch at the historic Cameron Trading Post. The view of the Little Colorado River Gorge from the deck here is especially striking.
After lunch, re-board your  mini-coach to head into the Grand Canyon for an afternoon of exploring this magnificent natural wonder. You'll stop at lookout points along the canyon's East Rim and South Room for dramatic vistas of gorges below. There's time at leisure for exploring on your own at your own pace.
Throughout the entire day, whether you're exploring by foot or on the mini coach, your expert guide will teach you about the history, archaeology, geology and flora and fauna of the Grand Canyon and the surrounding area.

What a spectacular tour...it was our first trip to the Grand Canyon, and it truly exceeded our expectations. Nothing can prepare you for the views, the sheer magnificence. Riding in a little tour bus is not ideal, but even that wasn't terrible. It's a long day, and a lot of driving, but there is so much to see, and in my opinion, the most efficient way to take in as much as possible in a short time.Regarding the guide, I wouldn't step back on a bus with Kevin ever again. While he was knowledgeable, he was unbearable. He came across smug and condescending. His refusal to use a microphone led to him shouting information across the bus for the whole tour. He had no respect for time, and we arrived back 2 hours later than expected, which made for a long, exhausting drive to our next stop, in the middle of the night. To sum up, I highly recommend the tour. Just ask for anyone BUT Kevin.

Our guide Andrea was extremely informative about all of the attractions and everything on the way. We really liked how she explained everything and let us explore on our own but was always available for questions. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting that area.

The tour was made great by our excellent tour guide Lynn. She was knowledgable not only about the Grand Canyon, but also the local culture and wildlife. I was initially skeptical about stopping at the trading post for lunch nut it turned out to be very good. I highly recommend the tour though it is a long day.

Sheldon our tour guy was knowledable, detailed, funny and timely. He is an historian! He kept us moving without making us feel rushed. We saw a lot in a short time. I want to do it again with my siblings their spouses and Sheldon. An awesome Day!

Great way to see the sights without the hassle of driving. Excellent all inclusive view of not only the Grand Canyon but the surrounding area as well. The small group with a guide made the trip an experience worth the money.

Having Sheldon as our tour guide was so helpful and informative. We would have been lost without him, having never been to the Grand Canyon before. He knew all the best ways around and saved us so much time so we could see more than we ever would have. Also, he was very entertaining and patient with our group of 9. Highly recommend for any first-timers to the canyon, or even those that have been before but probably missed out on some things along the way. Also, he will definitely keep you well hydrated!

The 4 of us loved every minute. Brian was excellent. Very knowledgeable of the area and history. Would highly recommend this tour to everyone.

We had an excellent tour due in large part to our drive/guide, Brian. He had insights of the Navajo people and the history of the area that were superlative! He is a full fledged Navajo and he literally grew up in the areas that we were touring.
