The Basics

For many visitors to Anguilla, a trip to Shoal Bay is high on the priority list. The beach is divided into two areas—upper and lower Shoal Bay—and you’ll find the majority of beach bars and amenities (like sun loungers and umbrellas) in lower Shoal Bay. Enjoy some of the island’s best snorkeling, then head to Gwen's Reggae Bar and Grill, a Shoal Bay institution, for a meal of lobster or barbecue ribs.
