There's no better way to explore South Wales than in the company of a historian, and native Welsh speaker, who is passionate about the country. This tour, which provides a deeper insight into Welsh culture than any other, takes you to neolithic sites, Roman ruins, Norman castles, and into the atmospheric valleys that have so inspired Welsh culture.
Explore the mythology and magic of west Wales on this adventurous sightseeing tour from Cardiff. On our Wye Valley tour, you will have the freedom to spend as little or as much time as you wish at any of the locations. Whilst we have set an itinerary with timings, this is not set in stone. The only restrictions on how long you spend somewhere are the time we have booked a table for you, and the finish time of the entire day.
If you wanted to spend more time looking around Tintern and the Abbey, and less time in Usk, you can. If you want to spend less time in Caerleon, so you can have more time at Caerphilly Castle, you can.
Our timings are purely there to be used as a guide for the day.
Tintern Abbey, Caerleon Roman Baths, and Caerphilly Castle all have a cost for entry. However these are not included in the price of the tour. We have done this so you do not feel obligated to enter any of them if you do not wish too (although we do recommend it). On the day, you can enter all, or none of them as you see fit. If you want to enter any of them, simply pay on the door
