I am a wine maker based in Alba, Piedmont. I have over 25 years' experience in the wine industry - making and selling wine - meaning no one else in the region can offer you as much experience, allied to a wider understanding of the wine world outside Piemonte.
My tours are all private, and you can try my wines!
The take-off point as for any hot air balloon flight is chosen based on the direction of the wind, with the aim of passing over or near Mondovì. Tradition has it that everyone tries to pass over or as close as possible to the Belvedere Civic Tower which overlooks the city and then descends and lands on one of the many grass fields that surround Mondovì.
Piedmont (Piemonte in Italian) means "foot of the mountains", the Langhe district offers enchanting views full of charm. The best way to tour the Barolo-producing region is on day trips.
We’re a small team, we want you to discover the beauty of the Piemont. Piedmont is a region rich in history, well worth visiting at least once in a lifetime. We suggest, but you decide what you want to see and do. Our group are max 10 people,we are in no hurry, we do the tours with a lot of relax.
Explore the vineyard-covered hills of Le Langhe surrounding Alba without getting footsore on this Segway excursion that takes you from the town center to a winery in the nearby countryside. In addition to a detailed picture of the cultivation of the vine and the production of Barolo, the peculiarity lies in the guided lunch, a real gustatory analysis of the wines and paired dishes. You will be guided to create a graphic map of the various characteristics of each wine and each dish to create real sensory profiles. These, overlapping, become an immediate visual tool to understand which elements contribute to harmonizing tastes. The historic Germano Angelo winery is an important piece of the history of Barolo. Teobaldo Germano was the founder and first president of the Barolo winery then dissolved in 1930 and purchased by Davide Germano to transform it into his own cellar. The tasting takes place in the now renovated rooms. The same Davide who founded the Consortium for the Protection of Barolo and Barbaresco in 1934. We can't tell everything here ... discover our world for yourself.
We look for the maximum expression from our wines.
In the glass we want you to be able to also find a little of us, of our character, of our history.
Nice is the Barbera, our great love!
Nice is also a "core zone" of the Langhe-Roero and Monferrato territory, a UNESCO heritage site since 2015 and represents its most pristine and authentic part. Nice, its products and its territory are certainly worth the trip!
