This tour was wonderful. My tour guide was Kumar and he was very knowledgable about the Taj and Agra in general.
But what I was really amazed by was Afsar from the tour company. He was the tour manager that set up the entire trip. I made so many trip modifications and had so many questions. Afsar took care of everything. If it wasnt for his patience and Whatsapp I dont know how I could have possibly saw the Taj and Agra with on my tight schedule. I highly recommend this tour and talk to Afsar, he will hook you up. I also recommend that you get Whatsapp so that you will have an easier time planning the tour.
Great tour of Taj and Agra Fort with Kumar. He was on the platform and on time to pick us up when our train arrived from Delhi at 10am. We spent the day touring at Taj and Agra. The Gatiman express from Delhi is a great way to chop off 2 hours of the travel time from Delhi as a car ride takes almost 2 more hours in transport time. Travel Creatore was always almost instantly available by WhatsApp prior to our departure from the US and always confirming all legs of the trip. They also handled our transfer to Ranthambore park and then on to Jaipur. Great service and wonderful people. The only thing I would have liked was a little more history of the area and India to complement the specific details surrounding the Taj and Agra Fort.
Unfortunately this was not a good experience. The train station is full of homeless people and stray monkeys so you are constantly on the lookout and have to keep an extremely close watch on personal items. The train itself is a bit dirty and the food is uneatabe for any foreigner. The tour guide was scratchy. He would motion for us to get in a tuck tuck to get to the next destination as if it was apart of the tour and then demand that we pay. He never asked us if we wanted to take a tuck tuck or just walk. The tour included a tour of the markets however the guide took us to two shops that were down a back alley. There were no other customers in the store so me and my friend were followed around by 6 workers wanting us to purchase from them. It felt very unsafe. It seemed as if the tour guide was working with these people. Because we felt unsafe we wanted to cut the tour short and get back to the train station but the tour guide wanted to take us to a coffee shop. He left us at the coffee shop for two hours before coming back to take us back to the train station. Once we got back to Delhi, our driver was suppose to be waiting for us but he wasnt. We walked around the station at 8pm for 8 minuets looking for our driver. We were bombarded with men constantly asking to give us a ride which was very uncomfortable. After 8 minuets we found our driver holding a small piece of paper with our name on it. It then took a hour and a half to get back to the hotel. I would not recommend this tour to anyone.
