Do not book this tour, it is a highly overpriced taxi ride to the sound and light show. The tickets are 300 LE (less than $20) per person. We booked this tour because the description used to say that a "Qualified Egyptologist Guide" is included, which would have justified the extra cost. However there was no guide, just a driver and a second person to buy the tickets for you and wait in the back until the show is over.

I recently visited Aswan and decided at the last minute to take this tour and I am glad I did. The light show was very informative as it made the story behind the temple come to life with narrative and illumination. The night I attended, the narrative was given in French but I was provided with a small transistor radio device that played the narration in English. Meena, my guide, and Hesham my operator, were both professional, pleasant and knowledgeable. As a single, female traveler I felt very at ease and totally safe my entire stay in Aswan, as well as my entire time with them. I highly recommend this tour.
