The route and ease to get your tickets was excellent. However, the employees were rude or indifferent and the timely of the buses and stops were inconsistent.
Good to have the 2 interlinking circuits showing different aspects of this very interesting and diverse city. Dual commentary on the Wall and Lifestyle tour (B) made this one more interesting than the monologue of the Traditional tour (A). With frequent and some rather long driver stops - start early in the day to complete both circuits!
The 'A' Route had most places of interest; however, the 'B' Route was nothing short of a disappointment; we appreciate that drivers require a break (by law) but the length of time spent at the major change over stops was so long, we ran out of time to see all the places on the 'B' Route, so, consequently, we missed out.
(In other words, break stops @15 minutes each = 1 hour of the tour lost). Surely another arrangement could be put in place.
(Just to point out, we were unable to complete the rest of our tour on the following day).
Booked before we went, Stayed near un der linden had no trouble changing voucher. drivers and staff very friendly did not have to wait more than 10 mins when got off bus. all in all very good way to get a taster of berlin
June 2-3, 2019 we had 4 48 hour passes for Berlin. Despite the adveristed 2 2 hour routes, we couldn't take advantage. We waiting 30 minutes almost every time for the bus, and not because we had just missed it. Stops were longer than necessary to load and unload passengers. Drivers took multiple "15 minute" breaks, which were really 25 minutes while they smoked 2-3 cigarettes. That 2 hour route actually took us more like 3+. Furthermore, warn people that there are multiple companies doing Hop on Hop off. While the routes appear to be the same, the companies are not. One is green Two are red.
Kept waiting for greeen line that did not show up for and hour. Spoke with the helpline but didn’t help.when I finally reached the red line driver and asked for the green I was told it’s over for the day!!! At 4pm!
