Great tour of the Boston North End and Freedom Trail

Tour Guide Conner was a delight with his knowledge of the area and the sights we saw. I did this tour post Cruise and it ended a fun week in Bermuda and showed off Boston very well. The foods and smells of the North End this Saturday morning were delightful. The samplings of all the food described in the tour description made a great presentation of the area. The North End group was 9 people and a very good size for this type of tour. I was the only one to continue for the Freedom tour from the original group and we picked up another small group to tour the trail. The amount of walking was perfect for the day, I was expecting a much longer walk, but everything was fairly compact. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Boston.
We definitely had a 5+ tour with our guide, Ellie. She was personable and down-to-earth, giving us a lot to think about regarding early American history. There was a lot of walking, true, but we enjoyed it. One tiny. . . tiny. .. issue was where we were dropped off at the end, about a mile and a half from where we started. Since most of us on the tour were visitors, it took us a while to figure out how to get back to our hotels. We would suggest that the drop-off should be closer to where we started.

We had a blast on this Tour. Lots of laughs. Bob was our guide. Bob you Rock!! We learned lots and had fun at the same time. Every enjoyable walking tour. If your new to Boston I recommend doing this trip first. Great recommendations on places to eat and visit.
Ellie was an excellent tour guide. The pace of the walking guided tour was most excellent with several stops in between the walks. We had authentic Italian bread and Italiano subs cannolis pizza and brews. There were actually 10 in the group from all over the world. Scotland, New Zealand, Chicago, Canada, Florida and including us from Kentucky. We had been in Boston many times before but we were shown and ate at places that we had never seen before even on our many trips to Boston. For a well paced tour that lasted just over six hours this is well worth the money we spent. She was a great guide and I would highly recommend her and this tour.
Our guide was Bob he knew and explained the history of the stops along the way, very informative. The first food stops were really good authentic Italian food great value for money. Definitely would recommend this tour.
This tour was well worth the money and last around 6 hours! We were in a group of 12, all Americans apart from us. Bob was great and we were able to both ask questions and interact with our guide and other guests, We visited small, family-owned businesses for some great food, including a bakery for bread, Italian coffee, sandwiches, pizza, cannolis, and a drink in a pub.
Bob's knowledge of both the area’s history and places for food made this a very good trip.
Started in the Aquarium area and ended in the Boston Park with a lot in between.
Had a fabulous time on this tour! Our guide, Tim, was fantastic. You can tell when you get a good guide, because he was so well known around the city- everyone loved him! He took us to some really great hidden gems in Boston, and really knew the history of the city very well. Bravo! Will do this tour again upon our next visit to the city!
