Journey to the heart of the jungle and explore the UNESCO-listed rainforests of Northern Queensland on this full-day tour from Cairns. Pose for photos beside the gigantic Curtain Fig trees; marvel over the steaming pools of the Crater Lakes and tuck into an indulgent Devonshire Tea overlooking Lake Barrine. Then, look out for tree kangaroos as you hike to Ellinjaa and Zilliee Falls; cool off with a dip by Millaa Millaa Falls.
Best tour day ever! There isn't a boring part of this tour at all. The tablelands are beautiful, the waterfalls are cool, and the hiking through the rainforest is peaceful and exhiliating at the same time. Our guide showed up on time at our hotel and entertained us with stories and folklore about the area until we reached our morning tea spot, which was wonderful. The waterfalls were in full run because of the rain, so the pictures were great. It is a long day with some hiking, some driving and lunch which was wonderful also. This is a great bargin for all you do and see. I highly recommend this tour.
This tour was fabulous.Darrin was very hospitable and attentive. He went out of his way to help dreams come true, with a quick platypus sighting detour. The tea, lunch and the spectacular beauty of Cairns was worth every penny.A happy and fun day was had by all.Thank you Darrin.THATS IT!!
The tour was great! Tour guide was really nice and knew the area and all the good spots to go to! However, I realized the tour was too expensive and that you can rent a car for around 20-35 bucks or a bit more and do your own research and visit the falls! Instead of paying $1000 for a group of 5.
This was a fantastic tour with multiple highlights, including capturing the perfect Herbal Essences photo at Millaa Falls and morning tea overlooking a stunning crater lake!
The tour had a very personal touch and our guide asked us what we were interested in so he could personalise it to our group. Included tea and scones as well as a great selection of choices for a beautiful outdoor lunch at a quaint restaurant overlooking the tablelands.
Highly recommend this tour and our guide to anyone! Thanks Derrin!
