Round-trip transportation via tour vehicle, ferry, and jeep from Cancun or Riviera Maya
After pickup from your Rivera Maya or Cancun hotel, travel to the ferry port to catch a boat bound for Cozumel. Enjoy the aquamarine water and views of the Mexican Caribbean during the ferry ride. Upon arrival on Cozumel, climb into a 4WD jeep and take off for your island tour. Stop at an original Mayan building, called the 'seashell tomb', then continue to Colombia Lagoon, home to over fifty types of native bird species and what the locals call 'yellow crocodiles'. At Punta Sur, see the 'Faro de Celarain', Cozumel's original lighthouse. Don the provided snorkel equipment and wade in off the picturesque beach to explore the coastal barrier reefs, teeming with different varieties of coral and schools of fish. Head to the 'other side' of the island, less-visited and less-crowded, to have lunch at a family-owned restaurant. Dine on fajitas and local hospitality, then embark on a city tour to see how the locals live. Finish your day with a tequila tasting, then head back to Cancun/Riviera Maya for drop-off the way you came.

The staff for this tour were great...

The staff for this tour were great! Wonderful people. Very knowledgeable.. Only complaint was condition of one of the jeeps was very old. The other one was new so that was good. Also there was a misunderstanding that lunch was actually around 2:30pm instead of 12 to 1, so we had to buy snacks to hold us over until the lunch. Snorkeling was good. Glad they provide life jackets. We did not have fins however.. recommend fins for rough current. Otherwise, very good staff.. just need to update some equipment.
