What To Expect

Board your coach in Florence, and travel into the hills of Tuscany where the city of Siena awaits. Opt to take a guided tour of the city with a visit to Siena Cathedral to admire its renowned Gothic architecture. Or, make the most of some free time to set your own pace, and perhaps enjoy a coffee in the sun alongside the locals.

From Siena, return to the Tuscan countryside to explore the Chianti wine region. Stretch your legs with a stroll through a vineyard, olive grove and wine cellar, and refuel with a Tuscan winery lunch. As you sit surrounded by the grape vines, meet other visitors to the area and indulge in local treats such as cold cuts of meat, salad, pasta and fresh bread. Even better, a wine tasting takes place at the same time. (If the tour option without lunch is chosen, this part of the tour is not included but there will be more time spent in San Gimignano).

After lunch, journey onward to San Gimignano with its medieval towers, cobbled streets and squares. Explore the town’s historic center, cool down with a refreshing gelato and wander amid the 14 towers as you learn about their history.

Travel from San Gimignano to Pisa: your final stop of the day. Follow your guide to Cathedral Square to discover Pisa Duomo, Pisa Baptistry, the monumental cemetery (aka Camposanto) and, of course, the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

Return to Florence in the early evening, and finish your Tuscany tour with a drop-off at the start point.

Over all, the experience was great. Be prepared for the long day! The tour guide was very informative and was really nice. He took us to places where we could walk around and sometimes we had a small guided tour in some of the towns. We also got delicious italian food for lunch.

Best day tour to explore Tuscany.
KARAN_A, Dec 2021
It was the best day tour i’ve ever taken on any of my travels. The whole tour was very well organized and the guide was amazing. She had thorough knowledge of the area/ its history/ art/ culture and was super fun. Our day started with a visit to Siena where we saw world’s oldest working bank and the beautiful square. Walking through the alleys of Siena was mesmerizing. We also visited a museum there. From Siena we went to a local winery where we had authentic tuscan lunch and did some wine tasting against the background of beautiful wine and olive farms. Post wine tasting we went to explore San Gimignano, a beautiful medieval town where. I got to tase best Gelato here. Walking through the town was an experience in itself, the walled town with towers was a walk through history. From there we went to Pisa where we made it right on time before sunset. I climbed on top of the leaning tower of pisa, it was worth it. Overall if was a great day, at no point in the tour i felt it was rushed through. We got ample time in every place that we vistited. The way whole day was designed was great. Even the drive from one spot to other was interesting given the beautiful scenic background of Tuscany. I will definetly recommend this tour !
A lovely tour & guide!!

Although weather was less than ideal, our guide, Olivia, was so warm, friendly and knowledgeable, that we had a lovely day! Our lunch was fantastic at the winery, and we thoroughly every stop. We would have preferred a little more time to shop, but, overall, we would highly recommend to visitors in Florence.
