After being picked up from your central Ho Chi Minh City hotel at 5:30pm, meet your guide and small group of no more than 10 people, and set out to discover Ho Chi Minh City’s legendary street food scene.
Start by soaking up the atmosphere of Pham Ngu Lao, the buzzing heart of Ho Chi Minh City’s nightlife, then cross the canal to explore District 4 as the sun sets over the city. Zip along the scenic waterfront of the Saigon River, passing the statue of Tran Hung Dao and pausing to snap photos from the Thu Thiem Bridge. Then, jump off to tuck into the first of many street food specialties, including an array of delicious BBQ meats.
Continue through District 1, where you’ll have chance to taste the best ‘Banh Mi’ meatballs in the city – so popular that you’ll have to get there quick before they sell out. Sample more unique Vietnamese dishes at the next stop, including traditional rice cakes with toppings including meat, seasoned vegetables, and peanuts.
Finally, wind your way through the vibrant streets of Chinatown, the biggest of its kind in Vietnam, where you’ll get to indulge your sweet tooth in an array of typical sweets and desserts. Perhaps tuck into a sweet custard dessert, a bowl of fresh fruit in syrup, or some tasty sugared dumplings.
With your appetite sated, there’s just time to glide down the neon-lit shopping boulevard of Nguyen Trai, before being dropped back at your hotel.
