My wife and I had one day in Hyderabad and wanted to see as much as possible. This tour was a great way to safely visit many cool sites. Overall our guide and driver were great! We got a lot of insight on the places from our guide. Communication from the company could have been better, though. We booked weeks in advance but received no info about pickup until we called and emailed the day before. At that point, we were informed that we have to pay an extra $20USD since we were staying outside the metro area (hotel was near the airport). We also were unable to visit the grand mosque because we were wearing shorts— there was no warning of dress code other than conservative dress in trip description. We also ran out of time to see the palace, even though our guide insisted we take our time at lunch and tea. The only other negative (for us) is that part of the tour was to see art and other cultural items— we expected a market or gallery, but instead were taken to a shop with pushy salespeople and felt bombarded. (Those who love to shop would probably enjoy this)

Even though it was hot,I would say the climb to Golconda Fort was worth it,not only for the view but also for the fantastic tour given to me by John Wilson. I tried the traditional biriyani and the best part was for me when i went to Bangle Street :. Its a must tour for anyone who wants to get a quick tour of the city.Thanks again to John and my splendid driver Samad!
