Fantastic cruise.

Our 9am cruise was fantastic. This is truly a special place. I can imagine that it gets hot later in the day, so depending on the time of year early or late may be preferable. Short walk between gorges was easy and worthwhile to see the rock art. Very informative guide/boat skipper.

This was our first visit to Nitmiluk and we certainly enjoyed every minute. The guide Jamie was very knowledgeable and gave a wonderful overview of the Gorge from traditional, indigenous and scientific perspectives. The trip leaves from a boat ramp which is a short walk from the information centre. It was very hot the day we visited and we were great full for the facilities of the centre which has good refreshment options, great air conditioning and also outside tables available to sit at. We were impressed to find such a beautifully designed building in outback NT. The natural beauty of the gorge has to be experienced in person and is very accessible.
