Following afternoon pickup from your hotel in central Las Vegas, board an air-conditioned coach for the ride to the Grand Canyon. Settle in to your comfortable seat and listen to informative commentary from your guide or plug in to the onboard entertainment system.
Arrive at the first views of the Hoover Dam within the hour, stopping for photographs of the Mike O'Callaghan–Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge, a marvel of engineering.
Climb back aboard the bus and travel roughly 2 more hours to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon. Along the drive, gaze out the coach's large windows at the passing desert landscape as the sun sinks lower in the sky. Arrive at the Hualapai Indian Reservation in the late afternoon, whose location allows you the first views of the West Rim. Use your dinner voucher at your choice of several eateries, including a cowboy cookout, the Skywalk café or a barbecue buffet.
Meet and talk with some members of the Haualapai Nation to learn about their culture and history. Depending on the time of your visit, you may see a Wild West gunfight show or a traditional Haulapai dance performance in full tribal dress.
During your 3 to 4 hours on the West Rim, explore to find different viewpoints like those from Guano Point or Eagle Point. Choose to upgrade your tour with the 2 options listed in the Itinerary section below.
At sunset, get together with your group and guide to watch the show. Then, climb back on board your coach and head back to your Las Vegas hotel.
