My husband and I lucked up with a private tour. Our tour guide was Ty and he was AMAZING! He had an amazing spirit and was a great teacher. It was amazing being away from the city and the scenery was priceless. A must do!

This was a lot of fun but you do get dirty on the ride so dress appropriately. I wore jeans, a light long sleeve shirt, and hiking boots and was comfortable we had the afternoon tour in November. They provide helmet, goggles, and gloves. I found it hard to wear sunglasses because they do not fit well under the goggles. It is a very bumpy ride so empty your pockets etc before the trip starts. You ride as a group up a trail to the top of a hill and then stop for water they provided and then you ride back the same way you went up. There is a porta-potty where you stop for water that must have been put there many years ago and has not been cleaned-beware. Otherwise, there is no bathroom on the trip. The tour guides were very nice and did an excellent job.

Great tour. Had a lot of fun. I originally requested an ATV tour, but when I called to confirm hotel pickup, I was informed that they had over booked and I could be refunded or use a Razr. I choose to go ahead with the Razr, which turned put to be a good thing for me since it started raining.

I was enjoying a very exciting tour until I came round a bend in the track and got blinded by the low sun and couldn't see anything, unfortunately this caused me to have an accident and I came off the atv.
My enjoyment of the trip from then onward was somewhat marred as I spent the rest of the time riding back to the start point wondering how much this was going to cost me. When I had fallen off the atv had fallen on its side and the left side mud guards/wheel arches had been scuffed and a transfer was scratched.
I only write up this review because I think anyone planning to use these type of vehicles should have some idea what costs are involved should you have an accident. Initially I was told it would cost me around 900 for the damage as they would have to replace both of the scuffed arches then once we got back to my hotel drop off I was told they had managed to source the parts for a cheaper price and the price would be 740.00 and they weren't charging me for labour. Obviously this put a complete damper on the rest of my stay and as I was a bit bruised up I also missed my booking to see Penn and Teller that evening.
I had thought that these vehicles were designed to take some knocking about and quite frankly wasn't expecting a pristine vehicle because of the nature of the work they do and where they do it.
Got back home on the 24th Nov and payment already taken, not exactly the memory I wanted from this trip and if I can just save someone else from this sort of bill then the review will not be waste, if it gets posted.
