See the medieval town of Šibenik and the scenic waterfalls in Krka National Park on a full-day tour from the Makarska Riviera. Enjoy independent time to explore each site, and discover historic architecture, a picture-perfect town center, and a wild landscape of karst canyons and powerful rivers. Your tour includes National Park entrance fees, transport by air-conditioned coach, and hotel pickup and drop-off.
Start the day with morning pickup at your hotel or cruise port in the Makarska Riviera.
You’ll have views of the scenic landscape while driving the coastal road to Šibenik, which passes the cities of Split, Trogir, and Primošten along the way. Upon arrival in Šibenik, get your bearings by exploring the town on foot. The compact historic center is packed with architectural gems, but don’t miss the Cathedral of St. James, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that blends Gothic and Renaissance styles. This is also the perfect time to stop of lunch in one of Šibenik's cafes—lunch is not included in this tour, but the guide can help you find a place to eat.
Meet back up with the group for the trip to Krka National Park, where you’ll see the Krka River flowing through a series of waterfalls. You’ll have plenty of time to photograph the site, swim in the river, or simply relax in the shade of lime trees at the edge of the water. Afterwards, begin the return trip to Makarska, following the efficient inland highway, and then finish the day with drop-off at your hotel.
