Overview

Embark upon a horseback riding adventure in Maui on this guided tour. After your guide matches you with a suitable horse, based on your riding ability, ride up into the valley of the West Maui Mountains through gulches to see waterfalls in the distance. Then, head down the trail to the oceanfront to ride alongside the Pacific Ocean—if you are experienced, you have two opportunities to canter or gallop, weather permitting. Also includes a visit to a petting zoo, home to sheep, mini horses, and rabbits.

There will be a big yellow "Maui Mountain Activities Parking" sign on the left side of the road. The guide will arrive at 8am. Once all the guests arrive for the 8:15am check-in, the guide will lead all vehicles up to the ranch where the horses are stabled.

Amazing experience rain or shine (ours happened to be a little rainy). Pretty views of the ocean and a small waterfall in the distance. Our guides Fred & Nick were personable and helped with any issues we had with our horses. The horses were all paired with a rider appropriately based on riding level and well behaved. Would definitely do this activity again on our next trip to Maui!

We always go horseback riding wherever travel. This was by far the best. The scenery was beautiful and we could tell the horses were well taken care of. That's very important to us. Helmets were optional and we could run the horses and gallop if we wanted. That never happens. The cowboys were friendly and knowledgeable. The stable person met us on time and we were on the horses within a very reasonable time. The cowboys were very attentive to our comfort on the horses. Made to sure ask everyone's level of experience. That's important.
