Hop in the saddle for a 4-hour bike tour of Munich, and discover the charms of the Bavarian capital as you explore it on two wheels. With a local guide, you’ll pedal past landmarks such as Odeonsplatz with its Italianate architecture and the landscaped English Garden. Hear fun facts about life in the city as you go, and enjoy an hour-long stop at the Chinese Tower beer garden for food and drink (own expense).
  • 4-hour morning sightseeing tour of Munich by bike
  • Follow a guide and learn about Munich’s beer, culture, and history
  • Pedal at a relaxed place and explore squares such as Max-Joseph-Platz
  • Look out for the English Garden, Odeonsplatz, and other landmarks
  • Stop in the Chinese Tower beer garden to give your legs a rest
  • Finish by the Hofbrauhaus, Munich’s iconic beer hall
Meet your guide at 11:30am at Marienplatz 15 in Munich. Also known as the Spielzeugmuseum, which is under the Old Town Hall tower, the site is a convenient meeting spot in the center of town.
With your group together, you’ll listen to a quick intro to Munich and its sights. Stroll with your guide to the bike shop, then hop in the saddle and take to the road. Pedal at a conversational pace, taking in sights such as Odeonsplatz, English Garden, Max-Joseph-Platz, and the Hofbrauhaus.
After two hours on the road, you’ll stop for a break at the Chinese Tower beer garden and cool down with a crisp Bavarian beer and some food, if you wish. Then, return to your bike and continue the tour, looking out for the famous river surfers who ride the permanent wave in Munich’s central park.
Having enjoyed four hours out on your bike, the tour ends by the Hofbrauhaus. Hand your bike back, and bid your goodbyes to your guide and group.

Kyle was our guide. He was knowledgeable and fun. It was not too much riding and not super intense. My sister was worried she couldn't handle this tour because she isn't in the best shape and she did great!

The bike ride was super, not difficult. Good way to get around all the sites. Guide was very knowledgable. Great tips for where to spend time and get food. Just the right amount of information and riding with lots of photo opportunities. Well worth it. Would recommend to others not familiar with the city.

Excellent tour with Kevin. Very easy bike ride that took us to places that we would not have seen. Wish we did it the first day with our jet lag instead of waiting to the second day. A must do.

This was an amazing bike ride. Easy ride and beautiful scenery and great guide. The stop in the beer garden was excellent. We also saw the surfers in the river. Great.

The highlight of our 4 days in Munich for our 16-yr-old son who opted to skip the rest of the family's bus ride/castle tour adventure. Mother and son enjoyed our cheery native English-speaking tour guide ours was American, a leisurely paced ride through key sites in the city, and short stops from time to time where our guide offered a nugget about the importance of the site or a bit of history. Terrain was flat with most riding on smaller streets with ample bike lanes or gravel park paths. Riding through the Englischer Garten was a special treat: on a hot, sunny day, we enjoyed riding on cool shady paths near the river and views of sunbathers enjoying a beautiful Sunday afternoon in the park. Beer garden stop was just what the doctor ordered for drinks, refreshments and a German band, then off to see the dare-devil river surfers, another site or two, and back to the shop.

The bike ride was a lot of fun as it was a mixture of city streets and designated bike paths, But it was more of a sightseeing trip as we stopped way too much and the group leader not only told about the sight but interjected needless chatter. If you want a true bike tour or biking around Munich then you will be disappointed.
