Kyle was our guide. He was knowledgeable and fun. It was not too much riding and not super intense. My sister was worried she couldn't handle this tour because she isn't in the best shape and she did great!
The bike ride was super, not difficult. Good way to get around all the sites. Guide was very knowledgable. Great tips for where to spend time and get food. Just the right amount of information and riding with lots of photo opportunities. Well worth it. Would recommend to others not familiar with the city.
The highlight of our 4 days in Munich for our 16-yr-old son who opted to skip the rest of the family's bus ride/castle tour adventure. Mother and son enjoyed our cheery native English-speaking tour guide ours was American, a leisurely paced ride through key sites in the city, and short stops from time to time where our guide offered a nugget about the importance of the site or a bit of history. Terrain was flat with most riding on smaller streets with ample bike lanes or gravel park paths. Riding through the Englischer Garten was a special treat: on a hot, sunny day, we enjoyed riding on cool shady paths near the river and views of sunbathers enjoying a beautiful Sunday afternoon in the park. Beer garden stop was just what the doctor ordered for drinks, refreshments and a German band, then off to see the dare-devil river surfers, another site or two, and back to the shop.
A really great way to see the city! Our tour guide was Kyle and he was extremely helpful with providing recommendations and knowledge of the city. I would suggest this tour to anyone traveling to Munich!
The bike ride was a lot of fun as it was a mixture of city streets and designated bike paths, But it was more of a sightseeing trip as we stopped way too much and the group leader not only told about the sight but interjected needless chatter. If you want a true bike tour or biking around Munich then you will be disappointed.
