great local place

we went on this cheese tour and was delighted we got to hold a 2 day old sheep so how these local farmers take care of their stock. Also went across to the pasture with the sheep then went into where the cheese and yogurts are produced. Had fresh yogurt that was the best and the cheese was some of the best and to top it they gave us was local cider. Would highly recommend this tour. Also the guide was very helpful gave us names of places to eat that evening

This was an experience we were looking forward to and were not disappointed...only in that we couldn't take more of their sheep's milk Idiazal cheese, not to mention, yogurt they served along with it. What a wonderful event! We held baby sheep, met the children, sister and wife of the shepherd and watched the sheep dog run the sheep out to the field. It was inspiring to be in the countryside and to learn the deep history of shepherding in this part of the world along with meeting the entire family involved in running the farm and learning their family history. Ander, our guide, encouraged us to ask questions, was extremely knowledgeable and we never felt rushed! It was a thrilling yet relaxing morning trip that we would do again and highly recommend!!
