Admire towering red rock formations, ancient canyons and native American art in the Honanki Heritage Site, which dates back at least 700 years. Learn about the history and wildlife of this amazing landscape on your choice of a 3-hour tour to see the ruins only, or a 4-hour tour that also includes Diamondback Gulch. Several departure times make this easy to fit into your sightseeing schedule in Arizona's Red Rock Country.
  • 3- or 4-hour off-road Jeep tour through the Sonoran Desert, from Sedona
  • Enjoy views of the rugged desert landscape, including Capitol Butte and Chimney Rock
  • Explore ancient canyon ruins and learn about the rock wall art at the Honanki Heritage Site from your knowledgeable guide
  • Admire impressive red rock formations and delve into mysterious Diamondback Gulch (if upgrade selected)
  • Choose from two tour options with several departure times
After meeting your guide at the designated location in Sedona, hop into your Jeep to begin your offroad tour.
Your guide expertly maneuvers your tough 4-wheel drive vehicle through the desert, allowing for close views of plant life such as prickly pear cactus, grasslands and piñon pine; you might even spot some critters if you're lucky. Enjoy great photo ops of Arizona Red Rock Country's famously beautiful rock formations and canyons.
Choose from the following options for your tour. All tours end with return to your starting point.
Ancient Ruins Tour (3 hours):
Travel through gorgeous canyons with towering red rock formations in every direction during this 3-hour tour that includes plenty of stops to explore particularly scenic spots among the ancient canyon walls. Take time to learn about the features of the Honanki Heritage Site, a former cliff dwelling of the Sinagua people, who were Pueblo ancestors of the Hopi. Your guide explains the symbols found in the rock art of the 700-year-old ruins and shares the history of this ancient land.
Ancient Ruins and Diamondback Gulch Combo Tour (4 hours):
Extend your Ancient Ruins tour to include a 1-hour trip to Diamondback Gulch. After seeing the ruins at Honanki Heritage Site, descend into spectacular grand arroyos with famous rock formations such as Capitol Butte, Chimney Rock, Lizard Head and Doe Mesa. Feel your heart pound as you snake along the Sidewinder trail and plunge into the depth of Diamondback Gulch. As you emerge on the other side, amazing views open up before your eyes.

The ancient ruins were my favorite part of the tour, but the crazy jeep ride was certainly fun too. Our guide, Philip, had a great sense of humor and kept us entertained as we bounced all over the road enjoying the beautiful scenery. We learned so much about the area's history and had fun doing it. I highly recommend this tour. We will be doing another Pink Jeep tour next time we are in Sedona!

Our tour was alot of fun and very enjoyable. Our guide Sean made sure we were secured before venturing out towards the ruins. We did some 4 wheeling before getting to the ruins. Tour took about 4 hours. We had a few stops to stretch our legs and take some beautiful pictures of the mountains. Tour was well worth it.

It was a very informative fun trip, but it was cold and windy because it was January. Would do it again

Jeff was an excellent tour guide. Highly knowledgeable of indigenous cultures of Arizona and an expert driver of the pink jeep as he negotiated steep, treacherous terrain while explaining the fauna and flora of the region. Jeff made our Mrs. Sedona Arribella Schnibly visit worth while. Gracias Jeff.

This was a great trip with pink jeep tours. They are the only company that access to many off road sites in the park system there. Our guide Ray Ray was very knowledgeable and we learned so much about the ancient ruins and pictographs. Take the early am tour before it gets to crowded. Dusty ride in open air jeep, so ladies contain your hair and if a hat worn, needs a strap. Lot's of fun riding in the jeep and the history about the ruins.

I was so-so on this idea...My wife wanted it so , off we went.Charlie Bezilla, our tour guide, Gave us a trip to remember. His knowledge and personality made our 3 hour experience outstanding. In spite of my hesitation,at first, I highly recommend Charlie and the pink staff. It's only a couple hours from home ,and when we have company , we will gladly introduce them to that PINK jeep.

Highly recommend Pink Jeep Tours. Had a wonderful time with Glenn on this 4 hour excursion. We were family for 4 hours. Learned about each other and then Glenn educated us on the area, it's history, his own experiences since moving to Sedona. It was a awesome time and we will be back and we will go on another tour with Pink Jeep!

Great knowledgeable guide. Jeep travel was fun for 13 year old. This is our second Pink Jeep tour and I highly recommend them.

Excellent guide/driver, very informative and friendly. We took the earliest tour which was best as we had few guests in our group and virtually no one else at the site. Following tours were packed!

What fun this tour was! It was not just a fascinating look at ancient ruins and petroglyphs but also a class on geology, history, climatology, and an absolute blast. Don't miss it!
