Why Travelers Choose This Tour

This tour gives you access to an onsen in Kawaguchiko, and the flexibility to add on an optional lunch.
Enjoy a visit to the majestic Mt. Fuji along with a chance to explore some its best nearby attractions during this day trip from Tokyo. In addition to exploring the beautiful views from up high on this famous peak, you’ll also get a chance to soak in a traditional Japanese hot spring resort and do some shopping at a premium outlet mall.
Meet your group at the Keio Plaza Hotel (in Shinjuku, Tokyo) and continue by coach bus for a roughly 60-mile (100-km) ride to the mountain’s famous 5th station. As you take a few photos and admire the stunning views, listen as your guide details the mountain’s fascinating history, including its role in many famous poems and paintings. You’ll also hear about the more than 200,000 climbers that attempt to scale Mt. Fuji’s 12,389-foot (3,776-meter) peak each year, beginning their ascent from the 5th station. Make sure to bring a coat for your visit, as the high altitudes can often be colder.
Continue next to a nearby restaurant, where those who have selected the lunch option will enjoy Japanese meal. Those who have not selected the lunch option are free to explore the nearby restaurants and shops at their leisure.
Proceed next after lunch to the town of Kawaguchiko, which sits beside the shore of a picturesque lake of the same name. In Kawaguchiko head to Fuji Chobo-no-yu, a hot spring (onsen) resort where you can relax in one of the site’s outdoor pools, and views of Mt. Fuji. The resort also offers saunas and steam rooms as well.
Finish your Mt. Fuji experience with two hours of free time for shopping at Gotemba Premium Outlets. Offering 210 retail shops from brands including Yves Saint Laurent, Dior, and Ray-Ban, you’re sure to find a few items of interest. At the conclusion of your trip, head back by coach to the Shinjuku district of Tokyo.

Fuji was spectacular and feels like in heaven :) .Traditional Japanese Food was excellent" and Outlets shopping high end brands was great but not enough time for me though :(. ( But you see I was born to shop" and so many shops, so little time) :) . Definitely recommended it.

We only got to station one although the weather was sunny but they said that the road was blocked by snow. I was expecting to have a better Fuji experience but it was okay. Recommended to book without lunch and order lunch at restaurant. Cheaper and you have better options.

Great experience and good lunch.Saves time figuringvout how to get to all 3 places within 8hrs. Not possible without self drive or taxi. Guide MR HIRO spoke excellent English. JTB is professional, eventhough there were only 7 pax it still went ahead on assigned coach which sits 36 pax.

First off it was a pretty good trip, my daughter loved it, and that's all that mattered as it was her birthday trip. But I will say that the picture they are using IS NOWHERE ON THIS TRIP. IN FACT, I DON'T KNOW ANYONE WHO EVEN KNOWS WHERE THAT PICTURE IS FROM. You're NOT getting that view NOT EVEN CLOSE! But not withstanding that, all the rest was cool.

Hiro our tour guid was very knowledgeable and was very time oriented. I love how the itinerary of the trip was prepared. The only thing missing was seeing Mt. fuji itself.

We enjoyed our tour very much! Our guide Kumi was very nice and helpful and shared with us a lot of things about the places we were going to. It was great that we stopped at a certain area where Mt. Fuji was visible and took photos, because when we got to the 5th station it was all foggy. Onsen was a new experience for me and my friends. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience! And the hot water! As we are from a country with no outlets like Gotemba, we really looked forward to outlet shopping. I know some people said that 2 hours is too long for this part of the trip. But for us, this is just right, or maybe it could be longer. The outlet is very very big, and the shops I wanted to visit were at the West Zone, whereas the bus parking is at the East Zone. Actually very tiring! But worth it for us! Overall we had a fun day!! Btw, we availed of the sukiyaki lunch set for that day. Sukiyaki itself was good, but the tempura could be better.
