Harvest fresh, organic, vegetables to cook for lunch
Interact with your farmer host, asking questions about their daily life
Small group trip is limited to a maximum of 8 guests
Head to Hachiko Statue in Tokyo in the morning, continuing by car on a on-hour drive to reach the Nijiiro garden (Rainbow garden), an organic farm near the Japanese capital.
Meet up with your farmer host as you’re shown around the farm’s grounds. A translator will be with you to help facilitate your conversation with your host. Spend the next three to four hours harvesting fresh vegetables from the farm fields. You’ll use your hard work as the base ingredients for a fresh and delicious meal prepared in the farm kitchen.
Enjoy the ‘fruit of your labor’ during lunch with your host, filling your stomach (and your mind) with lively conversation. It’s the perfect opportunity to ask a few questions about Japanese farming life and learn about its daily rituals. At the conclusion of the tour you’ll be dropped off at Tokyo’s Harajuku station.
