You may want to skip breakfast for this tour (which I did) and still could not finish food from the two final restaurants we visited. Last restaurant of the tour...I had to get my pies to go! Well worth the monies and you also get info/sightseeing around Georgetown that is not food related. Thank you.
We had a wonderful time with our tour guides John and Susan. I hope I have their names right. I apologize if I don't. The restaurants, food and local sights were amazing. Others that joined us were delightful. I recommend it for those that aren't familiar with Georgetown. It's a nice way to be exposed to the charming and historic area. We were fortunate to have our tour guides as they were very nice and informative.
This was enjoyable experience for my daughter & me. Our tour guide, Jessica, did a great job pointing out a number of interesting things. The food was good and everyone in our group was friendly. This was our first time doing this and are planning on trying it in Chicago which is closer to our homes.
Excellent tour in Georgetown with a great route and load of tasty food. Our guide unfortunately I cannot recall his name was a real professional, who know how to mix jokes and historical facts. Absolutely great job! I highly recommend this tour to everybody, just keep in mind that walking distance isn't so short, and the tour will take some time.
This tour is a great combination of History and Food in Georgetown. Suzanne was knowledgeable and tour attendees added even more commentary for a good experience. Our food stops for Mexican, Korean, French and Pie samplings were all very good, friendly and did not feel rushed. We had a good sized meal by the time we finished, and we look forward to more tours with this company in the future.
The food selection was great. It was a nice variety in this case, tacos, Korean, French and pies, and way too much food.
Our tour guide was knowledgeable, and answered questions. But she was following her script, only providing information at points of interest. In between points, she would be silent unless spoken to. And at each restaurant, we had to ask her to get a background on the restaurant.
Overall, it was a good experience. But not sure I would recommend it to others, for the price.
We took this tour with Elisa on 7/6/17 and cannot recommend it highly enough! She was fun, energetic, passionate and extremely knowledgeable about all things Georgetown and all things related to dining in the area. I was in the area to tour colleges with my daughter and we both absolutely LOVED this tour. Fantastic tour, food and company. Can't give it enough stars! :
