Does each person in the family seem to have their mind set on the sites and interests they want to see in Washington, DC? It can be as varied and unique as their personalities. The debate about when and how much time to spend at each site can start to look like a debate on Capitol Hill. Let this tour be the continuing resolution in creating some non-partisan dinner conversation with memories to take home.

Participants are provided with a color-coded team t-shirt for the day, with teams consisting of 6-to-10 new friends/kids, plus a team coach/tour guide. Parents may opt to include a GPS band and then download the GPS codes for personal tracking of a child on tour.

This tour takes youth, pre-teens, tweens, and teens to the sites they want to see. They get to make new friends and engage in learning experiences that will leave only one debate over the dinner table: Who gets to talk about their day in DC first?

The 'Red Tour' includes visits to: the Smithsonian station, the National Museum of African Art, the National Museum of the American Indian, the Ulysses S. Grant Memorial, the Rayburn House, the Democratic National Committee, the Library of Congress, Veterans of Foreign Wars, National Gallery of Art, International Spy Museum, Department of Justice, Smithsonian National Museum of Celebrated US Heritage, White House Visitor Center, Organization of American States, Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, the Three Soldiers, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, the US Department of State, the Arlington Memorial Bridge/Lincoln Memorial, the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial, the Floral Library, the US Holocaust Memorial Museum.

Day by day, some sites may be closed to visitors by the Park Service or unforeseen circumstances. The guides do their best to accommodate these changes. Each tour may vary slightly depending upon these closures and the interests of the participants.
