Mekong Delta Tours

"My husband and I did the full day Can Rang Floating Market tour with David as our tour guide. Our pick up was at 5:30 am directly from our hotel. David contacted me the day before our trip to ensure we had breakfast set up and recommended items to bring with us. David and our driver arrived on time with our breakfast already in the car. We set off on our drive, which is about 2 1/2 hours. Along the way we unfortunately got a flat tire. However, David and our driver quickly took care of it and we headed along. Upon arrival at the market we boarded a motor boat were we cruised over to a floating restaurant were we had excellent coffee and our first bowl of noodle soup, which did not disappoint. Afterwards we explored the markets. David was so knowledgeable about the history of the people and how they have lived for many years. He answered all of our questions in detail. After the markets, we took a bike ride to a fruit farm to get a view of the local fruit farmers and ate fresh fruit and rice porridge (delicious!!). On the way back we stopped at a local restaurant for lunch and ate a 5 course meal. We were completely stuffed with all of the amazing food. David was the most knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. I would recommend him for any tour!"

"We are a family of 4 with 2 girls of 9 and 14 and we all liked this tour very much. The floating market was very interesting as well as the noodles factory ( girls loved it to try themselves to do the noodles). We did not feel like eating the breakfast at the floating market but the guide was very kind to keep asking us if we wanted anything to eat or drink. The guide was absolutely nice and professional. We really enjoyed talking to him. Also we liked the little trip to the Mekong canal to see more the country part."

"I was able to have some amazing Pho on a boat and see some great places, including the fruit garden and the noodle makers. My guide Dai took the time to explain everything. Transport was organised between my hotel in Ho Chi Minh to Can Tho. The boat driver was also excellent and the ride on the water was smooth the whole time."

He was very well spoken and we had the feeling that he loved to share bis deep knowledge of Vietnam and Can Tho. He also had Great recommendations for food and other activities.
