Specific for its history, ethnology, traditions, and culture, Mariovo region is known as the most rural area in the Balkan peninsula. According to the legend, it received its name after the beautiful Princess Maria, thus becoming "Maria's land".The departure is at 9:00 o’clock from previously agreed location in Bitola, followed by a tourist ride to Rapesh village, where a short break is planned at a panoramic location, where you will have the opportunity to photograph the beautiful landscapes. Then we continue to the villages Staravina and Gradeshnica. The church St. Demetrius (16th century) in Gradeshnica village is the next stop, and the beautiful traditional architecture and nature in this village. Final stop is Zovich village with the famous Stone Bridge.The excursion ends at 16:00, when we get back to Bitola (about 1 hour drive).* Approximate driving time - 2 h 30 min * Upon request – traditional lunch at the Ethno House in village Zovik can be organized.
