Wonderful day in Les Baux en Provence, Avignon and Chateau-Neuf-du-Pape. Corrine was a charming guide who not only shared her humour, but provided a sincere interest in our getting most from our journey. Although these tours are more about driving and access, Corinne was about to excite by her love of the places we visited. As always these trips are rushed, but set the agenda for future visits. All stops were interesting, however, would prefer some time on the wine making and varietals, etc. Not much education on the wine and how the brand / appellation came to being.
Nelly our guide was wonderful! Les Baux de Provence alone was worth the trip, Avignon is unique as well, and the Pont de Gard is breathtaking in its functional and artistic achievements. Wine tasting was nice way to end day with intro to the region's excellent wines.
Nelly our guide was perfect! Les Baux is a beautiful entree to medieval towns and Pont du Gard was breathtaking extra on way to Avignon. Tasting built up to excellent Chateauneuf-du-Papa red wine. Merci Beaucoup!
I thoroughly enjoyed this trip. Matt was our tour guide and he was great!!! We saw Les Baux-de-Provence! I felt like Belle in Beauty and the Beast in this enchanting village!!! We then made our way onto Ponto-du-Gard aqueduct and took in the amazing construction of this site! Avignon followed and we toured the Papal Palace, which was impressive to say the least. We finished the day at the famous Chateauneuf-du-Pape wine region and wine tasted there after touring the museum of French wines there. This was a 5 star day trip and a must for travels to Provence!
Our tour guide Melanie was very pleasant and knowledgeable! As soon as we began our road trip she began telling us about the region and it's importance. We had adequate time at each stop and Melanie told us what sites to see, so that we wouldn't miss an important one.
Our guide, Florence, was really great, very knowledgeable and delightful. The tour has 4 very different themes and some may not suit some travelers. The themes are ancient Roman engineering with aquaduct, ancient castle on a mountain, popes palace, and wine tasting. We loved the 1st 2 themes, but the others did not suit us but they would suit others. The tour is best suited for those with wide interests.
