First rate Tour with exceptional Guide

This tour was fantastic! Arnau, our guide, was very knowledgeable about all things Dali, passionate and professional. We were exceptionally fortunate to experience both the Dali Museum in Figueres and Dali’s house in Cadaques in conditions with minimal crowds. The pace of the tour was smooth and relaxed. There was more than enough time to enjoy both these amazing venues as well as an excellent sea side lunch, compliments of a superb recommendation from Arnau. I would highly recommend this tour and In Our Barcelona Tours. They provided great service and exceptional value for one the definite highlights of our visit to Barcelona.

Our guide, Ruben came to the hotel to pick us up on time. He was very professional and friendly. He was an expert of Dali, and gave us lots of information about Dali on the way to the museum and also in the museum. Fiqueres and Cadaques were such beautiful places to visit.

Nice combo of free and scheduled time

The trip itself had a nice variety of free time and guided time. There was not a lot of information about the history of the towns and a little too much information about the Game of Thrones film sites(it was not a Game of Thrones tour). The museum exceeded expectations. All and all I would recommend this trip. Do your own research about the towns beforehand. You will be a little grossed out with the history of Dali.

Not really worth the money

The cost of this tour was for the transportation and the guide only. Entrance fees were not included. The drive was very long and the van was crowded. It was pouring rain that day and we were dropped off in a village and told to wander. Everyone was wet and had to find shelter. The guide was friendly but what was advertised as an English tour turned into a Spanish tour.

A peek at the personal side of Dali

Small group is the way to go! My mom and I lucked out - we got a tour with just the two of us with Ruben as our personal guide for the day! Ruben was an absolute wealth of information about Dali's art and life, the region we were traveling through, and so much more. The Dali Museum and the Dali Jewels in Figueres were excellent, but the real highlight was the tour of Dali and Gala's home in Cadaques. The charming fishing huts turned house and studio were a unique glimpse into the personal life of this eccentric couple.

Ruben, our Guide for the day picked us up & we went for a journey to discover Salvador Dali. This tour had been recommended to us & we were not disappointed. Dali certainly left a huge volume of work. Quite remarkable. It was made even more interesting by having Ruben interpret some of his work. Thank you Ruben.

Fantastic Experience with Andre

, Sep 2019
Our group had an absolutely amazing experience on the Dali, Figueres, and Cadaques day tour largely in part due to our tour guide, Andre. Andre was endlessly knowledgeable about the life and work of Dali which proved to be the perfect supplement to seeing Dali's works first-hand. Andre truly was fantastic and deserves all of the credit for making this an unbelievable experience!

Take this tour!! Yes you can book train tickets and get to these places on your own for cheaper, but this was so worth it. Vincent is an outstanding tour guide, very knowledgeable of Dali and Spanish/European history in general. We learned a lot and had a wonderful time with our small group (we were 2 of 5 people). The long drives felt like a breeze with the interesting conversations the whole way up and around the Spain. We did the Dali Museum and the house in Port Lligat (Cadaques was too busy, but it really didn't matter) and would highly recommend to anyone who can appreciate art. This is by far the coolest art museum I have ever experienced. Take this tour!! Enjoy!
